LOL!!! The first time it happened to me, I was driving my buddy's coupe. I was racing a Camaro on a short road, damn it was scarry when the pedal full throttle.
I told friend to be careful of the same thing happening to him, he didn't listen. His pedal stuck and he hopped a curb and slid...
Thanks everyone!! There are a lot of badass Stangs on here. Grover, I can't wait to see what your car lays down on the dyno. 750 will be no problem. Turbos are the *****!
I had quit using floor mats in my Mustangs because of the floor mat kept causing the gas pedal to stick. I had thought I was the only one that had this goofy problem, but several of the fox body guys that I know have had the same problem too. I found a nice solution. The 2005+ Mustang floor...
This is my race car. 381 stroker, Dart block. Turbo kit was made by us, 88 mm turbo. Best pass was 8.54 @ 168 at Bandimere, Colorado. We fabricated the front bumper from the front and rear of a GT.
I really like the colors you chose for the two tone.I saw your build thread on the car and you did a damn nice job!! Your car is the one that detoured me from doing the Saleen front bumper by it's self. IMO it looks incomplete with just the front bumper. Do you have any pics without it?
Mine only makes 580 somethin to the wheels uncorreted. It's a stock block so can't push it anymore. It's a handfull on the street now, over the winter we're building a 400+ Dart blocked combo with twin T62-1's. Should make 1000 hp uncorrected with a hyd roller cam and still be a daily driver...
That is not unreasonable at all, but you would be better off taking it to somebody because a lot of people don't want to have to bring all their equipment out to someone's place to weld.
By Dave's Cages I believe that he is referring to David Wolfe.
You need from the spindles out on the brakes from the V8 car. The brake lines on the GT rearend are on the opposite sides of the 4 cyl rearend. Since you're going carb'd it is going to be very simple in moving all the wires, you pretty much only need the ones on the left side and you can hide...
Not only the weight, but the size, physically, is just too much for a fox body. I work around and on Powerstrokes all day long, 7.3's, 6.0's and 6.4's. It is just not feasible. Turbo that 351 and you'll be very happy.
Here's recent engine pics of the silver LX:
