    Door Locks Are Reversed

It's not a wiring issue. Some universal alarm kits work this way on certain vehicles. It has to do with the way some vehicle door locks are wired. They work find on some cars, while reversing the polarity of the locks on others. Switching the wires around at the switch is probably the...

    Supercharger Tune

There's value in tuning a stock fox body....if for no other reason, than drivability alone. The programming of the stock A9L ECU sucks. Do a Google search on A9L2 and read over it some. You'd be surprised how much drivability can improve with just changing to this calibration.

    Supercharger Tune

The PMS is probably the easiest for the DIY'er. It also has the least features. For your needs it should be adequate though. You've also got Megasquirt as an option Pricey, but very powerful. Then there's always the Moates Quarterhorse route (which I have). Equally as powerful as the...

    Door Locks Are Reversed

I had an alarm installed on my car a couple of summers ago and this was the outcome I was left with too. I usually unlock the doors with my remote, so I haven't really addressed it, but I'll get to it eventually.

    Air Thermactor Crossover

Ford doesn't make them anymore, but the aftermarket does. I bought a brand new one at Part Source (Canadian version of Pep Boys, I guess) about 2-years ago.

    Gas In The Oil

Almost. ;) I'm still getting around 14 in/hg at idle with mine....and my cam has a fair bit of overlap. Cruise vacuum is up around 20.

    Aluminum Gt40 Heads Thoughts?

Nope. As stated, stick with your GT40P's. Those ProComps are set up for stud mounted rockers if memory serves.....that's going to mean the expense of new rocker arms, right off the bat. If your "P"'s are screwed and you insist on sticking with an inexpensive set of aluminum heads, go with a...

Engine Engine Started Making This Noise. Any Ideas?

Does the noise go away if you slowly rev it up. Cam phaser noise disappears when engine RPM and oil pressure rises. Its usually the worst between 1,000-1,300RPM

4.10 Gear videos in daily driving

Well, unfortunately, "torque" isn't an option for the 2V crowd without a power adder, so you might as well do gears.

    Stud Mount Rocker Conversion

Gotta wonder why one would convert to stud mounted to hers on a set of low level iron heads that were originally designed for pedestal mount rockers? Why not save yourself the headache and just buy pedestal mounted rockers to begin with?

    Gasket Change ! Help!

Two simple ways to check for leaks 1st, start engine cold, remove radiator cap and look for formation of small bubbles in the coolant. A cold engine will generally reveal small leaks better than a warm one. Bubbles in the coolant will generally reveal engine compression escaping past the head...

    Cam Clarification

Neither of your choices. I'll push a XE264HR.....or NX264HR on a mild top end till the day I die. Great HO replacement cams. Lots of low and mid range power and an improvement over the stock top end. There is almost a 100% chance you'll need to fly cut your pistons to make it work...

Fox Weird Popping Noise When Turning

Sounds like a bad ball joint. Jack the car up on one side, by placing the jack under one of the front control arms (keep the suspension loaded). When you have the front wheel a few inches off the ground, slide a large pry bar under the front tire and lift up and down on it to see if it clunks...

You should have really researched that intake and the term "PI heads" before making that phone call. That poor tech was probably pulling his hair out during that conversation.
