    My friend has a 02 ss running a 383 stroker, blue print/balanced, forged and dyno's 450rwhp. Run's low 11's through an auto trans and with et streets.

    Honestly, when I first put it in, I didn't like the fact that the rears spun so much (street tires), but when I changed to dr's...I LIKE alot! Not really a difference from stock just when u mash it...takes off. Like dropping a clutch in a manual car. Best mod to date for me.

    From a 99-04 gt, stock or modded, manual or auto, which shorties? Drag springs drop the rear by about 1.5" and the only dirrerence than lowering springs is on take off where the drag springs allow the rear to drop down...transfer weight better.

    Will be doing the stage 1's pretty soon. Want to put the JBA cat forwards (headers) on and wondering how much total rwhp could I expect from the combo. Want to put long tubes, but car is too low unless there is a long tube with good ground clearence that I can use...Any recommendations for long...

    U have a strong runner as well. 104 is pretty darn good as u have similar mods as I. I just dont think my car could run a 104 without stalling it higher...like 4k-5k or so.

    U do have a strong runner with that mph and those few mods. My best mph was a 102, sad thing is, I let a friend race my car for me cause he only weighs 140lbs compared to my 320. My car weighs about 3330-3340 with him in it along with a full tank. I can only manage 13.2-13.3's with me...

    Stock auto mach times/hspwr?'s

    Our track was closed as of 4-1-06, but we ran a couple of races before that. His 60' avg 2.0...vs my 1.8's. On that day the best 1/4 I could muster was a 13.24, 13.28 and he ran a 13.4..and 13.4..again. I think if he had better DR's, he might beat me or at least an even run.

    drove an 05 today.... impressions.

    I feel that my car would smoke a stock/auto one, but stock for stock, it would kill me. I drove the auto version and it felt more balanced, no rattles, just all around a better built car. Didnt feel that much quicker, but the shifts came faster.

    I figured that, but funny thing is, every time we race, I beat himby 2-3 cars in the 1/4. He traps 103-104, but I beat him every time. Im thinking cause he's running 18" kuhmo mx's and cant hook, but he should be walking me down by race end but he never does. I only trap high 101's as well.

    I thought it was closer to 8lbs. 16oz=1lb, 32oz=1 quart, 64oz=1/2 gal, 128oz=1gal, give or take a few ounces. Im thinking there's about 120lbs, give or take, in a full tank of gas in our cars, if the tank is 15.7 as advertised. God knows, I need all the reduction I can get, I weigh...

    Agreed, but the 03-04 cobra's have forged internals. Ive heard that tim at mod pwr hse can extract 900 flywheel hspwr on a built 2v and roughly 1300+ on a 4v...he might be a good person to call and he is a big 2v lover as well. Al papito is a 4v lover at boss 330 racing and builds 9 sec n/a 4v's...

    mach 1 vs 00 gt

    I think he has a supercharger so he should be smoking a stock mach. Should be in the mid 12's or better with a supercharged 01 gt and the mach would be the same with a few mods so I don't know. maybe those extra bodies in his car amde it way slower.:shrug:

    cold air intakes!?

    I like it, but I did get the ram air instead of cold air. Heard that there not a big diff in power btween the two.I felt the car pull better from 4k up and gained about 9rwhp/tq with it, but thats in addition to the rest of the intake/exhaust mods. Should be a bit more with the vt stage 2...
