    Problems with predator Factory tune

    I bought the Predator because most tuners lock the damn Xcal tunes and if you decide to change gears you have to go pay the guy just to switch that one parameter in the tune. I rather pull out the Predator and do it myself in two minutes for free.

    For a K memeber and a coil over setup I'd bet they'll charge you around 7 or 8 hours. That should inluded getting the ride height all straitened out also and then doing an alignment.

    You would need a handheld tuner in order to turn them off. OR have a tuner put a chip in the vehicle and turn them off.

    First thing you need to do is NOT BUY THE PATRIOT HEADS... Do some research on them and you'll find plenty of info to convince you to spend a little extra cash for better heads.

    If you want to put a brow on the car you can scrape the dots off with a raxor if you want to. That way you don't have to worry about the tint coming up.

    One of my friends was sponsored by SLP for a while. He had stock manifold, SLP off road X, and the LM1 catback. He wore earplugs when he drove the car most of the time becuause it was so obnoxiously loud. IMO it sounded like **** at extreme volumes.

    For the money the Sumitomo's are great tires. I've had them for 2 years and have been plenty happy with them. A lot of people think they're crap though so I'm sure you'll see a few of those responses. The Nitto Extreme555's are nice tires, and just about all the BFG's are worthy.

    try disconnecting your driveshaft from the rear ens and turning it a 1/4 turn & reconnect it. Or see if there are any factory marks on it that aren't lined up with the flange on the rear end.

    Personally, I went with a Diablo Predator. I like to be able to make small adjustments if I want to. Wit an Xcal2 you have to have a tuner do even the smallest things if he locks your tune.

    With the TA I had I ran 93 and started at 13. At 14 it would ping on hot days and be fine on cold ones. I have however seen people running tham at 16 or 17 with no detonation on 93. So, each car will react differently. My suggestion is to keep the allen wrench in the car at all times. If...
