example,,when you install front cover you put silicone dabs in 6 spots..you have 4mins to install cover..if more than 4 mins silicone will harden and cover wont seal,or may leak down the road...- hotcobra03

too much silicone...its all over trigger wheel and back of pulley... .20 is is the thickness of a matchbook...when you pressed it on silicone was between pulley and trigger wheel..as time passed silicone was washed away from oil allowing play of trigger wheel..odds of crank pulley moving...- hotcobra03

see all that orange stuff...where do you think the pieces fall?????oil screen....silicone will clog it...i found this out with mine,,had to pull motor to clean...... its also enough to stop crank pulley from seating...how about a pic of the other side of crank pulley could be from pic...- hotcobra03

i would look at pully where crank bolt and washer were...if pulley wasnt seated all the way there might be sign on color difference at the end...this is pressed ....the bolt they supply to install was there a washer on it? like a fat thick 1? useing a thin washer could have damaged the...- hotcobra03

looking at keyway wear...i dont think its a tight fit when installing ,,, the pulley has to be the fault,,just hard to put finger on reason why... again i dont have 1 to say ,,not sure if 2v/4v are different or even when going thru youtube vids i seen some bottom timing gears were 2 piece and...- hotcobra03

another thought,,the ud pulley if when installed was tapped with a hammer to start ,,the slightest nick could be causing the pulley not to fully seat,,or bolt is bottoming out before pulley is seated- hotcobra03

how about just a pic of trigger wheel front and back...where the pulley holds the wheel is should be a clearner look than the goldish oil color...but it should be smooth evenly..run you finger nail across shinny to colored area....any lip/groove feel? code listed wobble on lower...- hotcobra03

looking at cover again full size it looks like the trigger wheel has been banging the cover...i assume the lower pulley holds this ...his pulley might not have been all the way in or its to short.. his trigger wheel shows shinny appearance on tips- hotcobra03

these vids are hard to see they are to thin...looks like it might have been rubbing front cover...maybe a real nice clear pic of cover do you have the orig pulley still....- hotcobra03

i take the complete vacuum harness off...than blow and suck thru line..it should feel clear both ways..just like a straw...being these hoses are tiny ive found restrictions on mine with evap hose.. i also would recheck engine harness by its self..when doing so check other pins in...- hotcobra03

my guess is the wheel for crank sensor...keep pulling it apart you say you checked for vacuum leaks..what about vacuum restrictions reading your mod list...a wobbling lower pulley will cause po316..- hotcobra03

how come you havent unhooked deactivator switch ???? this switch can be reset also.. f33 is hot at all times..when you hit brake pedal 3 things happen....shift lock gets power,brake lights get power,deactivator gets power going thru them ... read this...- hotcobra03

yes transmission is original just the parts listed were changed...driveshaft and ujoints are oring..rear end was rebuilt at 170k,,just gears and bearings...halfshafts are original...it has an irs- hotcobra03

sorry i didnt put up details on car... its stock other than exhaust ...the driverside head has been the only real issue...i have had problems 3 times on that side.... orig 4thread head had cyl 6 drop valve seat.. 1st 9thread head also dropped cyl 6 valve seat at 275k i had to replace...- hotcobra03
