    Limp mode is just open loop mode. Nothing major should change besides that. Something else is up.

    After some research, Yes they are the same. Swap away! Like boosted said though, if going more aggressive with the rockers or cam, PTV clearance need to be verified.

    its easy, pull the valve cover off and torque them down or set the proper preload on after market rockers... maybe I don't understand your concern...

    I honestly don't know off the top of my head if the GT-40p heads will work with a stock 82 bottom end. I want to say yes they will, but not 100%. I have never messed with anything older then an 87 bottom end.
