    Newbie with power..

Never run a blown car with out a tune.. The stock computer isnt setup to control that amount of fuel or air. As for detonation.. I recommend you drive your car around with out the radio for a while.. listen to the normal sounds of the car and if you hear any metallic rattling or pinging, let...

    vortech guy's/I need advice

I have the V2-SQ. If I were to do it again I'd get a Paxton Novi right off the bat. They push more air and changing the belts on them doesnt require removal of the head unit like a vortech does. Vortechs can run Paxton intercoolers with out much change so there goes the excuse that they dont...

How often do you s/c guys have to replace belts

I replace mine every year. I only drive it for 6 months out of the year though. The belt looked fine when I took it off. I keep it as a spare incase I shred one at the track, but it's not really necessary. I just dont want to take chances so I change it once a year.

    P0442 Leak in EVAP...

Not just the gas cap. On the drivers side of the fuel tank theres two tubes that run to the drivers side of the car from on top of the tank. I had one of these pop out after dropping the tank one weekend and it threw that code. It was as simple as putting it back in the hole in belongs in. I...

    Supra Aerotop On Mustang?!

Not to piss on your idea or anything, but our cars are weak enough structurally as it is. The hardtop itself strengthens the rigidity of the car greatly. Cutting that out is going to have an adverse effect on the car. Could it be done?? Probably.. would you're windows seal properly?? TBD I...

Failed emmissions--any ideas of what to do?

Tune ups will effect your emissions. Before I take any of my heaps thats the first thing I do. Get your car in working order. Bring the reciepts for the parts and labor (if needed) and try again. I think in CT if you spent 450 bucks to correct your issues, they'll waive your emissions. Dry...

    Subframes or Shifter?

Shifter feels nice, but I went 2 years with out it and could honestly stay with the stock shifter just fine. The subframes on the other hand really made a difference in the handling, especially on rough roads. Get the full length subs

    Blown Forecast

Pretty sure the SCT ones still do. Yeah, they still do the same basic thing.. but they still adjust to the readings of the sensors. So if the car senses colder air, it adjusts for it, if the oxygen sensors sense its too lean, it'll adjust so on an so forth. I'd personally rather have a...

    New Kenne Bell #'s

I definately gained power putting magnaflows on. Funny thing is I only bought it for the sound.. I was only expecting a few HP out of it.. but I gained about 10-15 from it. Congrats on your new numbers and lean that mofo out a bit. You have power and a lot more torque to gain there.
