    I was gonna be lazy and do what a editor in MM&FF did (Mark Houlahan?). He cut a hole in the trunk floor around the fuel pump just big enough so that he could change the fuel pump without having to drop the tank. He put a gasket between tank and trunk floor to seal it.

    I could be wrong but I thought 66 4 lug, which was stock on 6 cylinder Stangs, are different than Fox body 4 lug. I spend alot of time on a inline six forum and the classic Stang guys are wanting to run Fox body wheels but cant. IIRC one is 4 x 4.25" pattern and the other is 4 x 4.5" but...
