    If you aren't using the smog equipment, then you'll need to purchase extra inserts to plug the holes in the back of the heads. No smog=no open holes.

    Only if it was a traction lock rear end. Look at the axle tag, bottom row, to the left. If it says 2L73, then yes. If it says 273, then no.

    I'll chime in on this one. Realisticly, yes. It has the good graphite head gaskets on it and should be able to handle 8-10 lbs. of boost. For the best possible source though, I'd try calling the Ford Racing tech line at (586) 468-1356 and see what they have to say....

    Rack in pinion help

    Sounds to me like you're referring to one of the inner tie rods. If that's the case, yes, just that can be replaced. Make sure to get a new boot too though. The car will need an alignment afterwards as well. If you've got any doubts about doing the job, I'd suggest you have a shop replace it...

    '93 clutches

    I'm going to take a guess here and say it's the material as both are 10 1/2 clutches, and my clutch is no different than my wife's 87 GT. Actually, both now have the Ford Racing King Cobra clutches in them.....

    What mods have you done to the car? If you've upgraded injectors, I'd recommend going back to stock.

    Agreed on the car dealership aspect. I've been doing it for over 11 years now. Did you have a chance to see what your oil looked like? A blown head gasket would be noticable from the amount of smoke from the tailpipes not to mention the foul odor too.

    One could imply from your post that the vibration goes away or isn't there when warm. Is that the case? Plus, get new bearings, races, seals, and clutches when you change the gears. Yeah, more time and $, but you won't have to mess with it again for years....
