    Need help, problem installing headers

    If your motor mounts were like mine then the studs on them go through the k member. You may have to unbolt the mounts from the motor itself.

    Would these wheels fit my car?

    They would probably fit on the rear but I don't think you're going to get them to fit upfront. I've heard that some guys have put 255's up front but noone with 275's. I think the 94-04 stangs have considerably larger front wheel openings so they can run the wider tires.

    Removing cruise control from fender

    It weighed maybe 5-10 lbs. I had to replace mine about 4 years ago so I may be off on weight. You need to remove the left front wheel, wheel well liner, and then the cruise control servomotor. It's not hard but it is dirty in there.

    What rack to get??

    I believe you need the ford with 2.5. I think that is the rack for the GT. It has fewer turns from lock to lock. Other than the turns the racks are the same.

    Quick question: AOD to T5 swap

    I never had to cut/bypass any wiring when I did my swap but I had the wiring harness from my car too. What kind of problems is he having? Does he have the clutch relay hooked up or jumpered like it was for the AOD? Is he using the T5 wiring harness? Little more info would be helpful.

    Moisture in headlight

    Use a drill or dremel to make a small hole in one of the bottom corners of the headlight. Mine would actually fill up with water until I did this.

    gauge cluster q

    Check that the end of the speedo cable that goes into the tranny is clean/good shape. Other than that I've run into rust inside the cable housing causing bouncing. I'd just replace the cable due to it's inexpensiveness.

    You're pretty much stuck with the drone. Most of the drone comes from the mufflers not the X/H pipe.

    installing intake

    Look on the fuel lines for a little black cap. It looks kind of like a valve stem cap. There is a shrader valve under the cap. Just put a rag over it and depress the plunger in the middle. It operates just like tire stem valve. Just don't have the key in the on position listening to the radio...

    Drain the coolant. Oil can be left in. Mark all the hoses as to where they go. Do you have all three gaskets? A little RTV is a good thing to have. Recommend having a fuel rail tool. Torque everything per the pattern. Also depressurize the fuel rail if you do take it apart.

    Will not start (spark)

    If it was running fine until that fuse melted then I would say that was the problem. If you can be sure of which wires go to that fuse I would pull them out of the block and install an inline fuse in it's place. I can't be for sure about what that fuse is for since my stang is gone.

    I would match it to whichever has the smaller openning. You get the most seal and don't lose any flow.

    It might be weldable but I wouldn't chance it.

    Sounds like the stopper needs to be backed off a bit. Synchro would grind when you went into gear.

    I believe you will need the pink/red one(21tooth?). I think you can get them at summit or jegs. I'm not positive of the tooth/color but I'm pretty sure.

    Do like I did and pull the p/s off. Not sure what you can get in there to tighten it though. If I recall it's a pretty tight space.

    Wont start when wet

    I second the distributor input. I washed mine and it wouldn't start. Popped the cap off and it was nice and wet. Dried it out and fired right up.

    They will be affecting the sound some but with the turndowns you don't have your exhaust sound being directed straight out in one direction(i.e. out the rear of the car). It bounces the sound of the ground and underside of the car and sound kind of "leaks" out around the edges of the car. Where...

    How do i keep my Exhaust from Droning?

    Don't think so. Unless you want to change your idle by a significant amount you will have the drone you have right now. You can try putting turn downs on it to get the sound to bounce off the ground. Other than swapping in a different muffler you will probably be stuck with the Flowmaster drone.
