    Spark plug wires...

Just make sure you apply it all over and make sure you definitely use it on both ends. You can get it at any auto parts store.

dual cold air intake...anybody try this before??

On second thought ... that may be too big of a mess to even try to make work. Save the time and money and port and polish your heads or intake! :)

    Benifits of a 180° Thermostat¿

I am not gonna say always ... but a lot of the time, removing the thermostat makes the coolant flow too quickly and doesn't allow the radiator to do its job. The stat slows the flow down a little so that the coolant stays in the radiator longer, allowing it to cool itself off. Just a little...

    cleaning MAF sensor

It was some generic kind ... yellow and black with the red straw. I sprayed it quite a bit due to the black soot staying on there. I don't know what happened. I would use electrical parts cleaner next time. I dunno!

    cleaning MAF sensor

I think that's the way you are supposed to clean it. Just be very very gentle. Maybe some others with experience can tell ya exatly how to do it. I can tell you from experience ... don't spray it with carb cleaner! I F'd mine all up when I did that. :nonono:

    Good Experience! PPM

I know that everyone is always looking for the kind of company that goes that little extra for their customers. I just ordered my new Pro-M 75mm flanged MAF from PERFORMANCE PARTS MALL.com. I got a call this morning from one of the guys there and he began asking me more questions about my car...

    Benifits of a 180° Thermostat¿

I'd say toss it in! The benefits from using a colder temp'd thermostat is that it's SUPPOSED to begin cooling the block before it gets so hot. With a stock 195* stat, the blocks gotta get to 195* (or so) before the stat opens to cool it to the radiator. With the cooler stat, it opens at 180*...

dual cold air intake...anybody try this before??

As far as performance goes, your TB and intake are only gonna be able to use only so much air. Or everyone would be running MAF's connected to TB's for the unlimited HP. Adding an additional CAI kit may look kinda cool, but wont help ya out as far as adding any HP. Keep in mind that unless...

    Scored an aluminum driveshaft...have ?'s

I too would just reuse the stock DS bolts. If you think yours are shot, they wouldn't be holding the stock one on correctly, right? If you just wanna make sure, go to any DS shop, or transmission place and bring one of the stockers to match up. No prob! The driveshaft being ground by the...

    Polishing alternator?

that would look awesome ... anyone got any pics of the finished product?? DEFINITELY disassemble it first. The insides would get SO contaminated with the pieces of particulate that it'd never work right again.

    Opened stock MAF (post delete)

Yea ... I left the whole thing together when I cut out the center post. I realized that I left out a sentence on my original post too. After I said I saw the sooty looking stuff on the wires, I sprayed the inside of the tube with carb cleaner. Anyway ... does anyone have a stock MAF they'd be...

    Opened stock MAF (post delete)

OK ... yea, now the thing is all messed up! Don't try this at home kids! I don't think it's one of those things that will work itself out either. Maybe I have too much air or maybe when i shot the sensor with carb cleaner I messed something up. Oh well .... pro-m, here i come.

    Opened stock MAF (post delete)

OK ... I probably just messed up my stock MAF, but I was gonna get a new Pro-M 80mm anyway. I am sure people have done this before, but are there any problems with deleting the center post of the stock MAF to open it up a little bit? I guess I should have asked this before I went nutty with...

    Leaded vs. Unleaded

I ran AvGas (aviation fuel 108 octane) in my Kawasaki ZX600R and it ran GREAT on it. It also has a nice smell but it coated the tip if my exhaust with a white frosting. On emission restricted vehicles, you have to be careful about running any leaded fuel because of what STANG GT said ... it...
