    My solution only cost about $15.00 and the carpet matches the factory fronts perfectly and after trimming they fit perfectly. For $15.00 is wasn't worth worrying about.

    I had the same options on my GT and they didn't come with it either. I just went to Wally World and found a nice set of black carpet rear mats that were the correct width and then I trimmed them to fit between the seat rails. I cut them so that they fit under the plastic trims and they look great.

    Most rental cars get flogged and beat to within an inch of death. No one takes care of a rental. Pot hole? Go right through the middle. Curb? What curb? Speed bumps? Let me see how fast can I go over them. People beat the crap out of rentals and that's why they are noisy and ride so bad.

    I must be lucky or something. I've taken several very long trips in the GT and I find the seats to be very comfortable, much better than my company car, a Chrysler 300 w/ leather.

    No problem. Just eat a big bowl of chili with lots of beans and then have another big bowl for desert. Wait a little bit and then take a nice long ride with the windows up and the a/c on recirculating. The 'new car' smell will be a thing of the past :D

    Open the hood and remove the plastic cowling on the passenger side and you will see it. The owners manual also explains how to replace it. No matter what I would check it. Just spraying some air freshener into the a/c is just a quick way to hide the odor and won't do a thing long-term.
