TeamZ Suspension (PICS). Who else using them?

Team Z is local by me. Haven't used any parts, but people here love their parts and service.

    4.6l v8 in 88 foxbody?

Guys, you can hear a difference with the 5.0 and 4.6 engine when the car drives by. I had people come up to my 2v car all the time asking me if it was a 4.6L. Then they'd tell me "I knew that wasn't no 5-0!!" The engine sounds is different, and the exhaust note is different.

    '93 Mustang GT - only $25,000

Terminators that are low mileage, either stock, or modified with a Whipple or KB are around 25-28k here. I just did a search on Auto Trader earlier today. The only way you could get an "original paint fox" and a Terminator is if you bought a Terminator with 60-120k miles. Cheapest on I found...

    4.6l v8 in 88 foxbody?

Ahhh....that's what I sold you. :) I couldn't remember. I know I sold 1990Coupe his entire 5 lug and brakes system, but we talk all the time and we've hung out 4 times over holidays and my wedding. I sold Chris some interior stuff and you your spindles. :nice::nice::nice: I've never...

    4.6l v8 in 88 foxbody?

No, I don't consider you a hater. I've known you a long time, we've PM'd, I think I even sold you a part and you paid me Pay Pal. You're a well respected member I like talking to. I guess that I'm just much different than the rest of the Stangnet world. I keep forgetting that I have many...

    4.6l v8 in 88 foxbody?

I'm done with this arguement. It's full of haters. I've done it before, I know what's better and cooler. I know what gets people attention at car shows and what doesn't.

    4.6l v8 in 88 foxbody?

Of course it would. Stock for stock or exhaust for exhaust one car makes about 230-250 at the wheels. The other is gonna make 180-200 at the wheels. Plus doing a mod swap, you're putting a more powerful drivetrain into a much lighter vehicle. My notch with the 2V made 241RWHP and I took...

how to lower my car 2 inches?

Hack Job, for those who remember it, and even 1990Coupes white hatach both have Steeda Sport springs. Those cars are slammed IMO. I had 17's and 1990Coupe has 18's. I don't think you could get much lower than our cars were/are with those Steedas.

Sky's the limit on this Coyote Swap

Terminators engines and Coyote engines will not come down much in the yards guys. I just ran a locate on both, they're both huge money.

Do you carry a toolbox in your Fox? If so, what's in it?

When I go to the track, I'll carry my entire Craftsman 122 peice set which has it all. 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" deep and short from 4mm all the way to about 26mm. Then I grab phillips and flat screwdrivers, pliers, vice grips, cutters/knife, pry bar, extra extensions and rachets.

    4.6l v8 in 88 foxbody?

Very true. I figured out how to run a sway bar on my fox with the 4v. Actually, you're the guy who told me that the Terminator alternator is what got in the way of the sway bar. lol...haven't been on here in a while and I couldn't remember who it was. What I did was I used a fox body...

    4.6l v8 in 88 foxbody?

True. For me, it's tough to find the heads and other parts, even working at a junkyard. Lots of people don't wanna give up their cores when it comes to Mustangs, so we charge them a core, then they keep their engine. For me it's best to get a 99+ 2V, but yeah 96-98's with PI parts will lay...

    4.6l v8 in 88 foxbody?

x2. Oh yeah, I left out the part in my reply to his that a Terminator swap is the ultimate mod fox...hands down. But, the most is going to double over what I did. A Coyote would be triple and there would be a lot more research that would need to be done to get that in and running. I've...

No more Y2K Cobra R wheels!!!???

Yeah, they don't look right at all. I'll keep my eyes peeled. These will even look good on my red 04 for a change of pace here and there.

    4.6l v8 in 88 foxbody?

I've done both 2v and 4v swaps. Both cars had CAI, K&N, off-road mid-pipe and catback. Other than that....stock! 2v was a 2001 GT. Made 241RWHP & 284RWTQ. 4v was a 1997 Cobra. Made. 276RWHP. TQ was unavailable that day, dyno was having trouble picking up the TQ reading, couldn't get a...

No more Y2K Cobra R wheels!!!???

Reaaaally??? I'll have to watch out for it and buy them just to have them. I'll use em for an end table in my basement. I agree, they do not look good on fox bodies, but my project was gonna be a 99 Cobra, which we all know Y2K's would be badass on. You know what's the worst wheel...

No more Y2K Cobra R wheels!!!???

Chris, that car looked badass. Road rash doesn't really bother me. If I could find a set even with some rash, I'd be happy. If you get the right tire it hides some of the rash. Plus, I sand them down with 150 or 320 on a DA, depending how bad. It might not get it all out, but it helps...

    4.6l v8 in 88 foxbody?

I should correct myself...they don't live with KB's and big boost because of the heat that a KB generates. That's what I should have said first. Vortec's don't generate the same heat as KB's with the same boost.
