    First Post - Car Photos

Yea I know what you mean, I personally like my ride heigth a bit higher but not so much on the front end. I'm 6'1" and I don't like having to make an effort to look up and over my hood. My GFs Dad, he's 66 y/o just sold his 74 Nova and had the rear sittin low, I couldn't drive that car like...

    fresh paint on the stang

That metallic is tricky stuff to get a decent looking paint job with, I've only sprayed it a few times years ago so I know how diffucult it can be. Nice paint job:nice:

Nice ride, I like the black with the Cragar SS wheels and the stance looks good. Like you said just a bit high in the front end but your not parked level either so hard to tell. My 68 coupe is from Las Vegas, it's in N.Y. now.

What's the name of that new movie out that blows up a 65/66 fastback?

LOL bnickel:rlaugh: Here's a pic I took from the trailer: http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc83/jds68stang/AmerGangster.jpg Think I might go see that movie for the classics and the era it's set in. Just a shame to see something like that go up in flames.

What's the name of that new movie out that blows up a 65/66 fastback?

I keep seeing the trailer on TV advertizing it and they blow up a 65 or 66 black fastback:notnice: , what's wrong with these Hollywood idiots:nono: !!!! They could have used a custom rice burner to destroy and not an American classic.

    68 Fastback Body Shell

If that "one from scratch" is true (I believe you that it is) then maybe Cali should pass a law that Arnold the "Governator" can only have one of his movies shown in his lifetime in that State then as well. These POS polititions can really get me PO-ed when they mess with basic American...

    rear wheel aligment

You might wanna do a search here on this as I saw a similar thread posted not long ago inquiring about rear wheel alignment as well. At first it brought a few laughs till someone pointed out that indeed the rear wheels can be out of alignment i.e. former accident etc... .

Hard Starting: Looking for possile leads...

If the last 3 suggestions here don't work out, which it's about time they did as you paid your dues in frustration now, you've got to start at square one again. Concentrate on what the symptoms are and what other possibilities could cause this, start by tracing and looking over with a fine...

    pain in the rear!

As a welder I can tell you anything with sparks from welding or grinding around that gas tank be carefull, and have an extinguisher handy. If you have just the smallest gas leak those sparks will find it for you. I wish when I welded full time years ago they had that Bart Simpson shirt...

    pain in the rear!

That first shackle is connected to an extended bracket on the frame unlike the second photo that is attached to the frame only. I like the looks of the first pic, they did a nice job fabricating that. I think it would work in your case but the center support would have to be lower than...

    Fender Roll & T5 Question

No heat gun used, I pulled it out really bad backing up a few weeks ago, lip was facing straight down it was that bad. I don't think a fender roller would have helped at that point, it was to much angle to return without damage. I rolled it by hand with a 1" pipe the best I could then...

Mustang dies when lights are turned on

Then don't turn the lights on!!!! lol, sorry couldn't resist. Trace over your wiring, that sounds like your shorting out your distributor to me somewhere when you turn the lights on. If it just started happening since you swapped alternators chances are your light switch may not be it, but...

Help, I'm out of parts to replace! -- Electrical

LOL, no but I wouldn't accept anything anyways, if that's what your implying, ty anyway, glad to help you out if I can. Good idea to test the alt. again and try one more regulator before giving up also, I believe they are only around $20 for a cheap one and if that doesn't work you should be...

Gas shooting out of the vent stem

The float itself could be bad and not shutting off the flow to the bowl. Check that out, take it out, is it extra heavy and full of gas?

Tap that solenoid good with a wrench first a few times before you replace the starter, I guess they can get stuck. Learned that from D.Hearne here so if it works thank him. Welcome back.

    Fender Roll & T5 Question

Whatever it costs get it done or your going to be dealing with this.:bang: They have the tool that you can rent and do it yourself if you wanted to give it a shot, just take your time if you do and roll just a small amount at a time. These are something you really want to work up and in very...
