    Or you've got a big dirty cam in there you don't now about. Check TB connections, all Vacuum lines on back on intake. Most likely find problem there.

    Is the car speed density? There has to be a bigger problem than just the timing being low. My old bone stock '92 gt ran 9.6.

    I don't know man. Those numbers may be more accurate than you think. You have some of the best heads on the market on the car. But they aren't being fully utilized. The Cobra intake is good, but I believe those heads could use more air.

    Wow, those are horrible times man. You will probably have to adjust idle, timing, etc... when removing smog equipment. But I can tell you. That isn't going to make your time any better. You probably need a tune up, gears, exhaust, at least, to get you in the 9's. :shrug:

    Turtle wax ultra gloss 10x better than NXT

    I love my NXT gen tech wax. I think the hype around it is so large, you are dissappointed easily. I'm definitely going to try and pick up some of that turtle wax. Thanks.

    Zaino is by far the best product. It's polish, so I guess it doesn't count. Meguiars Next Generation Tech Wax is the best thing I have put on my car.

    It would be nice if there was a better selection of nice OEM Ford wheels for 4-lug. Unfortunately, the best thing to do is go 5-lug. Unless you do the Cobra R's.

    I'd guess 375. That would be one he!! of a setup. Your looking at a good 5-6k for all that stuff.

    Heads. Good set of heads will put in the low 13's with the right H/I combo. Save and get some heads.

    More trouble that it's worth IMHO. You can fit some pretty wide tires on a 9" wheel. And pay lot's less.

    Same thing happened to me. I did not have to pull the engine, but replaced the oil pump and she was purring like a kitten. It's a probably a intermediate mechanic job. Drop the K-member,starter, front wheel assemblies, drop the pan. It was a mess. But you should check that as opposed to just...

    Thanks guys. I am running up to autozone later for that sending unit. It's just not very heart warming to see the needle down there even though I know I have pressue. Thanks for the replies.
