    So I bought a '92 GT today...

I have collected die cast models since I was a kid (only 25 now). So my old collection (still have it) consisted of some Franklin Mints (1/24th scale): 65 Mustang vert, 70 Chevelle, and a 57 Chevy custom with flames. I also have a lot of old Buragos, all 1/18th scale. Probably 30 total - lots...

    My 1993 Mustang LX Project

Very nice job. I thought the old one sat too low. I like this ride height better. And I think those rims go good with that color.

Finally got some decent pics of it all back together

Thanks for spoiler suggestions. However, I'll be sticking with this "there's something missing look" for a while. I like it! As for the hood - yes, it's the stock hood with a "rear facing" hood scoop from an early 80's Mustang GT. I think 83-85 had 'em, but I'm not 100% positive. I got...

Finally got some decent pics of it all back together

Thanks for the replies guys. I wish I had better pictures with the black rims. I usually have the silver rims on b/c the black ones have my m/t drag radials. As for the spoiler debate (I knew it was coming) - I'm sticking with no spoiler, at least for a couple years. The look is already...

Finally got some decent pics of it all back together

I've been driving this for the past few weeks, but I never took any good pictures of it. These pictures still aren't the greatest, but atleast I have something to show off my work... And a picture from a week ago when I had the black rims on it...

    Vacuume puzzle *pics*

Fuel pressure regulator can come right off the intake. EGR has to come through the solenoid for it. Do you have a/c? How about cruise control? You can actually remove quite a few lines and still keep a functional car. All I have on mine is a line from the intake to the FPR, to the brake...

    Best lookin cheap red paint

I just painted Ford EP (Vermillion) in Chromabase (not cheap), however the same shop I bought that in had the Nasson brand in the same color for half the price, which was around 55/qt. That's pretty good for red!

    Boat People Summer's coming

dans89lx - I'm all about "peace of mind", so I'm happy with the premix. I run it 32:1 and use Pennzoil synthetic from wally world. My only complaint is that after going through long no-wake zones, it REALLY gets loaded up and takes about 10 seconds of feathering the throttle to get it going...

Stainless Steel Brake Lines - alternate to MM?

Maximum Motorsport wants $80 for the front brake lines and another $45 for the rear line to the axle. I found these on Summit's website and wondered if anyone has used them: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=EAR%2D28B040ERL&view=32&N=700+4294908331+4294908282+4294924927...

    Boat People Summer's coming

Another personal watercraft guy here... 2000 Yamaha 1200 GPR: minor mods include intake grate, d-plate, reed stuffers, wave eater clips, and premix setup. dans89lx - what's been done to your waverunners? you say the 2 seater will do 75. that's pretty impressive.

    Cobra Intake??

Toss the rubber seals and put a 1/4" bead of blue silicone down. Worked well for me, and I've read it has worked well for others.

    Wrecked my Mustang....

Hey man - sorry to hear about this. I hate freakin' Ohio roads. I'm fortunate enough to have a DD. Anyways, my main reason for posting is I saw a new pass. side quarter for sale on craig's list earlier this week (I'm a craig's list hound). It was posted under the Cleveland section: Link...

Dreaded Oil Pan gasket replacement... Any Tips???

Search my user name on this topic. I just made this repair three weeks ago. I replied to my own thread with results and also posted the specific gasket from Summit that's a one piece and comes with the plastic holders the guy above mentions. I thought those things were awesome. They saved me...

    Project 81 Hack Job!!!!!

SVT - thanks for the writeup. I know what I spent on base/clear for my car (red), and your non-discounted price was less than HALF of that. Sounds like it could be worth the extra up keep. Seems like white would be an ideal color for single stage. Again - looks beautiful. Can't wait to...

    Project 81 Hack Job!!!!!

Looks real good. If you don't mind me asking, why did you choose a single stage over base/clear? Was it cost? I've never sprayed single stage before. If you have some time, write-up the pros/cons you found from this experience. I'd appreciate. Side note - I know that usually with bright...
