    I heard it will drop the temperature some but you will not get the full affect until you get the fan to come on sooner. It can't hurt, and it only costs a few bucks.

    I had trouble do to the fact the inlet tube was too long. With the kit layed out in the engine compartment the inlet tube would overlap the MAF by 1". It would fit but it caused very ugly bind at the throttle body. I ended up cutting 1.25" off the tube for it to fit. Now looks perfect...

    First step?

    Either go with a o/r H-pipe or o/r X-pipe on the exhaust side. You can put in weld-in mufflers or the full catback. It is up to you on that. The best mod to do I would say is some gears. Go with 4.10s. You will love them. With these type of basic bolt-ons you will be deep into the 14s.

    Spintech has the side exhaust kit and I believe for an extra $80 you can get the Cobra R tips. With the tips it cost somewhere around $500. It is still cheaper than Borla or the Steeda kit. Also it sounds good with a o/r H-pipe.

    The gomac was for the Straight Shot with the MAF. When you order the Straight Shot only it only applies I believe to the shipping costs. Free shipping with 4.95 handling fee. Mine was a pain in the A... The inlet tube was 1.25" too long. Oh well. Lets just say it fits now.

    I had to no issues punching mine out. Since I have a 98 you don't need to. I changed mine anyway because the nipple came in the kit. Like what was stated earlier I used a 3 lb mallet with some wood, then with a couple of soft whacks came right out.

    The prochamber sounds pretty good with the Magnapacks. It is a little cheaper than the MRT catted H-pipe. Either way I think some type of H-pipe will sound good.

    3.73s....4.10s....

    True anything is a improvement over stock. But in my opinion I will be getting 4.10s. A buddy of mine has 4.10s and drives 140 miles round trip to work. From hearing that and driving his car I totally made up mine for the 4.10s. I believe it is a great daily driver gear.
