    I'm not disagreeing with any of the previous posts - I had to take mine off 3 years ago because the previous owner had put a tear in it that bugged me. Its been in 100+ degree california heat for 2 summers now and no problems yet....... Just my 2 cents.

    Ive got a 2004 DSG GT and just ordered the 11 GT in sterling grey metallic. I haven't found any good wallpaper of the 11 in grey. Is it just me or are there not a lot of pictures out there in the grey? I was thinking of selling my 04 before this deployment but I couldnt part ways with her.

    Tri-Ax getting sloppy

    Im kinda in the same boat.......just has a bit more play in it in neutral than it did new. I have about 40,000 miles on the tri-ax. If i can pull it this week to take a look. I may try buying another.

    I just took a trip over to vegas and got 400 miles to that tank . i know its highway, but for an 04 with 54,000 this always impresses me. A city tank ill see 290-330 John

    +1 on the FoMoCo filter and if i remember right it calls for 6 qts. as far as what brand, thats a thread that goes on forever. I use valvoline buts imo its all preference.

    I know putting the new fluid in can be a pain. I had a small nozzle on the end of my bottle when I did it. that helped alot.

    How much oil for my stang?

    I know my Manual calls for 6 qts if your doing a filter change also. I like to run 5 1/2 and leave the other 1/2 in the trunk just in case. And always runnin the motorcraft filter.
