    Mil eliminators

You can't turn them off with a handheld SCT tuner. They can be turned off in the tune though. If Michigan uses the OBDII test for inspection, you will not pass if they are turned off. Get some anti-foulers. Use 4 of them, 2 on each converter. Drill out one of each pair. They will move the O2 out...

    The Squeaky Wheel

Though probably not likely, I once had a right rear tpms come loose and start making some funny noises I couldn't quite track down. Then after awhile it let go completely and started banging around inside the tire. Eventually it stopped working completely and the warning light came on, thats how...

    The Squeaky Wheel

Bearing is the next most likely culprit. Have the axle pulled and get it checked out. A bad bearing can be dangerous, it can chew into the axle itself. If that happens, a good bump can snap the axle. Is it a constant squeak? Intermittent? Rhythmic?

    Tuning for 05 Mustang GT

What kind of handheld tuner do you have? Most of the good tuning shops use SCT. If you have an SCT handheld there are plenty of tuning shops out there. Brenspeed, AM/Bama, etc. I use Brenspeed myself, never had a problem. Any of the above shops can hook you up with an email tune. CMCV delete is...

New hood on a 2006 GT, now engine is running lean

Its not the volume or temp of the air that is the problem - it is the turbulence. Aim a car dryer or leaf blower at the CAI with the car running. It will cause the same problem. The MAF needs a steady smooth supply of air to read correctly. Thats why a tune can't really compensate.

    Signal light question

The computer can make it do that. Unhook your battery, that will reset it.

    Shaker 500....

Don't be surprised when your door subs don't put out the volume anymore if you change them out. The stock subs are like 1.2 ohms. After market subs are anywhere from 2 - 4 ohms and work best if you use an amp other than the stock shaker 500 amps.

Ford Racing SVT Front Brake Upgrade Kit (05-12 GT)

I put the kit on my 09 GT. Its an easy install and the performance is great. Stops on a dime. I put some Hawk ceramic pads in at the same time. I painted my calipers blue and stenciled the Brembo back on in orange. Be aware that most stock wheels will not fit over the Brembo calipers - I have...

    Edelbrock vs. Ford Racing Supercharger

I have an E-Force on my 2009. Installed it myself. I am running a Brenspeed Stage 1 kit, which uses a 3.5" pulley (7-9 lbs boost). I am using GT500 fuel pumps also. Pulls like a freight train, Its been on for over 20k miles and 2 weeks ago just dyno'ed at 474.55 rwhp, 434 rwtq (I do have...

    Brake pads question

Hawk ceramic pads are good too. They don't make as much brake dust but I have heard they can be hard on rotors.

    Slightly Rough Idle

Is the roughness something new? Or did it always do it? The stock cams are ground for torque, and are actually pretty darn good. However, they do not idle perfectly smooth even when there is nothing wrong. There is a very slight cam lope even when stock.
