    Brembo Kit Arrives!!! =*PICS*=

Brembo Kit Installed!!! I had the day off and some extra time, so I cruised down to work (I work at a Chevy Dealer) to throw the Brembo kit on the Stang. I have to say that the installation of the Brembo kit was the most seamless process of any aftermarket part I have ever installed. This kit...

    Gear rattle ?

I just thought of this too. I had a buddy with a 04 Cobra that did the same thing. - Justin

Do you want to know what the worst thing I ever bought for my car is?

This stupid thing: I was going to make a homemade CAI to replace my Mac CAI. I thought this would help me out for the MAF to air filter connection but, the holes aren't even close to lining up and it is way smaller than even the stock MAF. What a joke and waste of $10 :( I just...

    Gear rattle ?

I have a TKO-600 that does the same thing. In addition, mine has a rattle when I lug it down or when I'm driving in 5th gear. I took the tranny out and tore it down to inspect. Everything looked perfect inside. I replaced the Thow-out bearing and pilot bearing while I was there. No...

Heater Tube Assembly Leaking Bad!!! HELP!!!

The problem is that there isn't much room to screw something in with the fuel injector right there. Space is going to be a limiting factor to what you can screw in there. I'd like to report that so far the car seems to run great. No issues as of yet. - Justin

Heater Tube Assembly Leaking Bad!!! HELP!!!

Here's a couple of pics. I may try and find some better looking fittings when I have more time. I just really needed this thing running and I had to make due with what I had locally at OSH and Home Depot. Here ya go: T fitting with ECT attached 1/2" 90* Elbow out of Lower Intake...

Heater Tube Assembly Leaking Bad!!! HELP!!!

I got it all worked out and have no leaks!!! :) I'll get some pics when I get the chance, so you guys can see what I did. I basically used a 1/2" 90* elbow off of the lower manifold outlet and went directly to the heater core with rubber hose. Then I used a 3/8" T fitting off of the hose...

Jack over at Muscle Motors Performance was a big help through all of this. I recommend anyone interested talk to him. I ended up into it $1399 shipped, but that is with the rear kit too. Here is what I got for my money: Brembo Front Kit: - (2) Black 4 piston Calipers w/ pads - (2) 13"...

Heater Tube Assembly Leaking Bad!!! HELP!!!

That part is obsolete. I guess I'll be rigging something up today unless anyone thinks the fox one will work. I know it is similar but it has a couple of extra things on it and I don't know what they are.

Heater Tube Assembly Leaking Bad!!! HELP!!!

Has anybody bypassed this tube or put together a setup that replaces it? I'd rather get rid of that weird cap setup that screws into the lower intake manifold but haven't figured it out all the way through. I just know that, that is where it is leaking from and I think that design is stupid...

    Speaker Wiring Question

Here is how to fit your 6.5" without hacking up the doors. I used the stock speaker mount as a template for the holes and cut out the size hole I needed for the speakers. Just an idea for you. All you need is a little bit of MDF.

What did you do to match the rear brakes to the 2000 Brembo Cobra R kit?

When he said he was going to try and match the rotors I thought he was going to take Powerstops design that was closest to matching from the options they had. After my last post I checked my e-mail and you can imagine how happy I was to receive this e-mail from Jack over at Muscle Motors...

What did you do to match the rear brakes to the 2000 Brembo Cobra R kit?

After days of considering my numerous options, I just finished up sending payment to Muscle Motors. I decided to stick with the Brembo Gold Rotors and they are going to match the rears in color exactly and with the crossdrilled pattern as close as possible. They set me up with a package of the...
