Mach 460 - only tweeters F&R are working

I still haven't figured this out. I tried following the diagrams on that page listed above, but I can't follow it (guess I have adult ADD). I found another schematic a while back, but can't seem to find it now. Does anyone have any ideas on what else to try? I pulled the center amp and...

Mach 460 - only tweeters F&R are working

Thanks. I went to that site, but it doesn't have much information I don't already know. I searched and found a bunch of people having the problem, but no info on a resolution. I don't particularly want to bypass the amps, so I'd like to find out what's going on.

Mach 460 - only tweeters F&R are working

I have a 99 GT with the mach 460 system. About a year ago I installed a new head unit (JVC MP3 Player) and everything worked fine. All the speakers were on, all 4 channels worked perfectly. Last week, the rear amps shut off. All 4 channels still work for the tweeters, but that's it...

    Stock cam lift?

    So which is it? .504/.531-inch lift or .505/.534-inch and 186/194 @ .050 or 200/209 @ .050?

    pilot bearing / bushing

I bought one from NAPA and it was exactly the same as the one for my dad's car.

    pilot bearing / bushing

Is the pilot bearing / bushing the same for the 5.0l and the 4.6l? Can anyone tell me if the pilot bearing/bushing from a 5.0 is the same for the SOHC 4.6l with the t45? No one in town has one for the 4.6l, but my dad's got one for his car (90 5.0l).

70 Mm Tb Vs. 75 Mm

I would think the 75 mm would be better for a blown application because it allows more flow, kinda the 'bigger is better' saying. On NA, it might hurt air velocity at lower RPMs, but I'd go with the 75mm anyway, especially since you're boosted.

    Ever heard of this company

If I do buy anything from them, it'll be that TB. Anyway, I was checkin out your site, saw you had an FZR 600. I had one, a 92 (like yours, I'm guessing, 91-92). It was my 2nd bike, I loved it. Anyway, thanks for the info.

Going To Track What Should I Run???

bench racing :nonono: Expect a 14.50, that way if it runs that, you won't be disappointed. If it goes faster, you'll be semi-satisfied. I say 'semi' because no one's ever satisfied with their ET.

    Accufab 70mm TB+Plenum UPDATE

6.31 RWHP & 6.88 RWTQ gain with BBK Long Tube Headers, BBK X Pipe, Magnaflow Catback, Steeda Pullies, and a 75mm TB, not a 70. However, the difference would be very little from 70 to 75 (maybe 1hp?) http://www.modulardepot.com/?show=articlesdet&aid=38

spark plug comes out and sets off a chain reaction...

Stick with the stock injectors, but do a compression test on that bank (cylinders 5-8) and compare the other 3 vs #7. If you do have a bent rod, cracked piston, or anything allowing fuel/combustion to make it into the crank case, it'll probably show it in the compression numbers. As far as why...

    Washed engine, now running rough

If you drive it around normally, the water will evaporate. Typically, water gets down in the spark plug wells, it's happened to me before. The reason why the other guy said to use wd-40 is because it displaces water (WD=Water Displacement), which helps get water off the electrical connections...

    Ever heard of this company

Sorry to bring an old thread back to life, but I was curious if anyone has had an dealings with this company recently? I was looking at their 75mm TB, which for the price, I don't think is bad: http://www.blueovalindustries.com/products.php?pid=99011764&openparent=9902062 They have a...

    More track pics lol

You gotta start somewhere. When i first took my car out, I was running 16.6's. We used to go every week, but now it costs too much to trailer the car out and put 5 gallons of 112 in it every week. 13.00 was my goal, but when I got there, it didn't take much to get to my 12. Now I want an...

Kind of a dumb question, but...

Correct, we have several different gears, and shy away from the bronze ones. I'm 99% sure I've got a steel one on it already.

Kind of a dumb question, but...

I've got the MSD Distributor and have two gears for it (and several others laying around). It's strange to me how it can break the gear. If I decide to change, I may just break bread and go with the linked lifters, as they have to be able to spin 7000 (I shift at 6300 and sometimes carry it...

Kind of a dumb question, but...

I had another question regarding this topic. I was looking at prices and options. I know the cam selection for the standard hydraulic roller is broad, but those lifters keep mocking me with their price :p Anyway, I got to looking and came up with this: To use the smaller base circle I came...

    New Dyno #'s are in.

Depending on traction, race weight, and other variables, that's probably a 13.0-13.2 car (give or take). I ran 12.4's all day long when I dyno'd at 311. I'm geared differently, but I bet it's fun to drive! The one thing that could easily help you get to your goal would be a cam that's just...

    New Dyno #'s are in.

A general rule of thumb is 20% for drive trane loss with an automatic. Which would put you around the 330 mark. What are the specs on your cam, and what gears are you running? My car put down around 340 and was able to pull a 12.13 weighing in at ~3400 lbs. Gears affect dyno numbers...
