    Mysterious oil leak on my 289

    I don't think it's the head gasket. I think if it was the head gasket you would notice oil leaking from the blow out spot. Is your oil filler cap on the drivers side of your car? Just an idea. Also maybe the exteme pressure is caused by a clogged PCV valve.

    Vented hoods, for 1966 stangs????

    I like the hood I have. It's a steel hood with the fiberglass shelby hood scoop molded into it. You still get a steel hood that utilizes the stock hinges.

    I have a 65 and when I turn the ignition to on/start etc. the fuel guage will always peg out to full (trust me the tank only has a few gallons in it). Even if I disconnect the wire going to the sending unit, it still pegs out to full. Should I try grounding out the wire to see what happens? If...

    Need some advice about pistons, compression and all that good stuff. Here is what I have. A 289 bored .030 over with silvolite 1157 dished pistons (http://kb-silvolite.com/spistons.php?action=details&S_id=106, stock heads in a C code 65 with a 2V carb.
