Brakes Help!! Rear Brakes Won't Bleed After Adj Pv Install

And did you install the FRPP M-2450-A solid pug in the factory PV? If you didn't air can get in the hole in the factory plug where the PV guts usually seat, and you will tear your hair out trying to figure out why you need to keep bleeding the rear brakes.

Help/mustang Down, 5 Lug Axles Too Long? Not Fitting Correctly

Wheel bearing won't relocate the face of the axle which determines your drum placement. Your options are to switch to SN95 rear disc brakes, or go back to shorter axles.

Just buy a few feet of 3/16 i.d. vacuum line and replace it and the rest of the hard lines.

    Super Stiff Rear Spring/shock Combo

Personally I'll never :leghump: with conventional springs again. I think coilovers are worth it, but that's me. As for wallowing, strut/shock damping shouldn't control how much of it happens, just how fast it happens.

    Super Stiff Rear Spring/shock Combo

Most of the body roll is generated at the front of the car, but the Eibach rear swaybar makes a noticeable improvement, and pretty cheap too. The only problem is it hangs down ridiculously low at the corners.

    Oil Pressure Woes !!

Then it's likely not a split block, but it sounds like the bearings were either set up REALLY loose, or have worn that way. I would run a http://www.blackstone-labs.com/ or other lab analysis on it, if you're near a big city there's probably somebody local. Look for high lead and copper levels.

    Oil Pressure Woes !!

Say you're cruising along at 2500 RPM in 3rd and floor it, does the pressure rise/hold steady, or drop?

    Oil Pressure Woes !!

The factory gauge drops to nothing below about 12 lbs. 15-18 at idle is technically enough, but a healthy windsor 5.0 should be showing way more than that IMO. What happens when you apply load?

    Rolled/pulled/cutfront Fenders?

Put some negative camber in it, problem solved. And it needs it. By the looks of it you're running close to zero camber which might work well on a corvette or anything with an SLA front end, but these things need at least 1 degree neg camber to keep from wearing out the outside edges of the...

    Rear Axle Seal Part Number?

Note that a lot of parts systems are yet again listing the wrong parts for these cars. Foxbody owners can't catch a break. They're listing Timken 714569 or equivalent, which is for a newer car and the O.D. is .022 too big. The correct seal is Timken 8660S or equivalent.

Ford Racing Aluminum Driveshaft .. Worth It?

practically zero performance benefit, but it cures the vibes caused when you go to non-factory rear gear ratios.

    Fox Rear Shock Tower Brace

Yes, coilovers will add addiitonal stress...in a vertical plane that a simple horizontal bar can't do anything about ;) If each corner of the bar were triangulated to the opposite roof area, that would be an improvement. Better yet would be simple "L" type bracing that ties the shock tower...

    Fox Rear Shock Tower Brace

No offense, but there is no load path through those shock towers that a 2-point brace between the towers can do anything about, unless the car takes a hard smack from the side and you want to project the damage to the other side of the car ;)

Fox Closed Out The Track Season With Two Personal Milestones

For years, I had two T5's, one in the car, one under the workbench. Every time I blew up the one in the car, I'd swap in the one under the workbench, rebuild the one in the car, and stick it under the workbench. It was always 3rd gear, and sometimes the cluster went with it. If it was just...
