After mid-january most every storm turned to rain out here so by the end of them we had about 1-2 inches of slush. Not bad at all, 'cept for the roads. It's been constant early march weather for about 2 months.
I never minded it much. december '06 I drove to CT on nearly bald ones in a slushy rain and lost the rear brakes 1/2 way thru mass. I had to behave my foot, but...:shrug: The rear follows the front if you take it easy.
You're not gonna hit 310 unless you're doing LT's, catless x, and UD pullies. Doubt you'll pass emissions.
Stock w/ $1,800, and passing emissions, I'd go 4.30's, tri-ax or other quality shifter w/ stops, underdrive pullies, and some MT DR's .
