    I got my 285/40/17s on today. The speedo is pretty much as it was before. Not sure if I have any fender rubbing but it looks to be pretty much a straight swap.

    Blue03Gt, The motive gears are very high quality. I'm actually thinking of going 3.90s when its time for gears. I havn't heard anybody complain about them as long as they are installed correctly.

    Haha, um no. I installed C-springs on a friends car last weekend and it lowered it 1.2" in the front and 1" in the rear. Maybe you got a bad set but everybody who I know has them loves them.

    Nope, you just use your coil packs from your 96-98, drill the temp sensor, etc. It is less labor than a headswap because all you do is lift the old engine out and the new engine in. You use your old computer to handle the ignition and everything.

    Arent a few companies offering bored and stroked 5.4 blocks for lightnings? I think they punch them out to like 377ci. This combined with some ported heads, cams, intake and full exhaust would be an amazing combination. The torque alone would be unbelievable.

    Yeah, I'm not lowered yet, but when I was pulling into wawa the other day, I nailed a curb with it and it made a screaching sound you would expect. But the spoiler held up great, just like it is supposed to. Pete
