Craigslist is your friend. I have a clean black dash frame for sale. PM me if you want it.

    Tonights' new issue............

You really got after it, Mike. Kudos on a job well done. I was going to recommend good old talcum powder for a friction squeak. It works wonders where two floorboards in a hardwood floor are making contact and creaking/groaning when you step on them. Then again, who the hell wants talcum powder...

    AOD 3:55's VS 4:10's?

I understand what a spool is, I have one. I just didn't see anywhere in the post where anyone mentioned anything about having a spool. Must be some inside information or something.

    What has a spool?? I don't follow.

Opinions on this part? Anyone buy from this seller in the past?

Well, the shroud w/fans has been in my possession for a while now, but I have yet to get any pics of it. It seems pretty nice, honestly. The only problem is that it was delivered to the wrong house (my previous mailing address), but that is my own fault for not checking what address e-bay had...

    AOD 3:55's VS 4:10's?

 Must be Utah vernacular. The 4.10 gear set is the typical recommendation for AOD cars. You're going to sacrifice fuel economy and some cruising RPM, though. Expect to see 2200-2500 RPM at highway speed.

is my GT really a GT

I don't follow this statement. How do GT's have more intrinsic value than LX's? I personally think a GT is less valuable than a clean LX. That's my own opinion, though. There has been a noticeable movement in the Mustang community towards the lines of the LX. The GT, if not done right, just...

Yellow 88 with 95 nose/rear MM&FF cover car found newark nj.

That car looks like a dog's breakfast. What planet does he live on where that car fetches one quarter of his $30k asking price? I'd give him $30 (Canadian) to push it off a cliff. There's a local guy with a ragged out "teal" notch with 140k on it and curb rashed pony wheels. He's asking $12k...

time to start the winter mods

How about a progress thread? We all love pictures a lot more than walls of text. :D The board needs more progress threads. There was a time when every other thread was one, now not so much.

1990 GT, R block stroker, PTK, 88mm Turbonetics, Street Car Build

Thanks Jeff, I may ask you for his contact info when the time comes. There's a new in box Freddy Brown AOD available locally too but the guy wants $2500 for it. Overdrive would be nice for cruising, and it's built for 900 horsepower. That's a lot of bread for a trans though...

How do you ensure an adequate flow of coolant through the hoses with that system? It's been a while since I took fluid dynamics, but won't the coolant be prone to taking the path of least resistance, i.e. the larger diameter tubing? I'm sure that system is tried and true, or else Turbonetics...

Maybe you could rig up a small, dedicated heat exchanger for the turbo's cooling system itself? An oil cooler or transmission cooler would have the SA to keep the turbo nice and cool. You could rig up a small expansion tank, circulating pump, and minimal plumbing. Run 50/50 antifreeze/water in...

Honestly Mike, I don't have the pockets deep enough to really make four digit horsepower. You simply break too many parts too often, especially for a 100% street driven car. I'll likely have the car tuned conservatively for 750 to 800 horsepower, with 800 being the true "goal." Thanks for the...
