I really need you guys help on this one

Black Smoke = rich fuel condition White Smoke = oil burning Blue Smoke = oil burning combined with a rich fuel condition Steam = coolant leak STEAM is different than smoke. Steam dissipates in the air. Smoke does not (not nearly as much).

    Put a turbo on a N/A 2.3?

The static fuel pressure had to be turned up to 65 psi. Even then, It was leaning out past 5K. I have an FMU now, but it's still not right. The best thing I can suggest is to start with an aftermarket fuel injection computer with wide band O2. At LEAST the wide band O2 meter and a tweecer...

    Put a turbo on a N/A 2.3?

Don't think of psi, It's more related to hp levels. I ran 24 psi of boost through one with the stock turbo and made 269 rwhp and 322 rw torque. :) and to add to Nick's reply: Yes you could definetly do that. And to keep it even easier, you could just put an FMU on and run the...

doh! :owned: :( Man, I gota move so much junk around on that site. I'm out of space and either I pay them money, or I move the old pages to another site and start from there. It's gona take some time. damn it. :nonono: alright... I just upgraded it. Now it's banner free...

    20psi boost too much?

Felpro 1035 I don't always run 30 psi. I save that level for special runs. I have multiple switches connected to different BCS's. All off = 17 psi, one on = 20 psi, two on = 25 psi, three on = 30 psi. Getting fuel to the engine is my number one problem now. I'm working on the solution. :D

65mm throttle body problem with the tps

 You've been saying that a lot lately when trying to back up some crazy claim. You've also said that before. Even if someone has gotten the T/B for free, you still pitch a bitch. My guess is 0 to 5 hp increase. You make ZERO sence. Why do you give a ****...

65mm throttle body problem with the tps

There would be no ill effects from putting a 75mm T/B on a N/A 2.3. This isn't a carb'd application here. Using a larger T/B won't make a fuel injected engine run badly. Fuel injected N/A motors love larger T/Bs. And yes, you could put a 100mm T/B on it. The only down side to it would be the...

65mm throttle body problem with the tps

Anything in the way of the valves is a restriction. That includes, throttle blades, 90 degree bends, stock air boxes, air silencers, air filters....... This will always be true.

65mm throttle body problem with the tps

First off, nobody needs to explain jack **** to you on why they want to put a part on their car. With that being said, Removing any inlet restrictions from the intake, Eg. stock throttle body, will help gain power. Just like the removing the stock air silencer or adding a ram air scoop...

65mm throttle body problem with the tps

Last time I heard, a "Ricer" was described as one who puts on body kits/stickers and has no modification done to the engine.

take a volt meter and make sure that the voltage from the tps changes as you increase throttle.

White smoke from the exhaust is usually oil burning Black smoke from the exhaust is usually too much fuel. Pull all your plugs and lay them out in order. Do any show major discoloration from the next plug? It might be a stuck injector or something.
