    An EGR valve recirculates exhaust gases, not a PCV valve. I had the same assumption as you, vristang, that it was in place in case of backfires. Hopefully somebody else will shed some light on this.

    Although you probably already know this, keep in mind that if your p/v clearance is tight advancing will make it worse. I was looking at the TF stage 2 with my engine build, but TF said I might have to retard it if p/v was too close. Just something to think about.

    Don't make my mistake of forgetting to turn your headlights on at night. Mine are so bright that the headlights don't make much difference when driving around town (highway is a different story). I forgot once and got pulled over, but the cop understood and told me not to forget again.

    I could be completely wrong, but I believe the egr gasses are internally plumbed through the intake. Hopefully somebody will confirm or correct me.

    I'm in the same boat. I have 17" Rial rims that I've never seen on any other car and I love em, but two of the caps are broke. The caps actually look identical to the ones on new Impalas, but I'll obviously not putting a bowtie emblem on my car! Good luck man.
