    I have a stock temp gauge and mine seems to stay pretty steady around the o and r during normal driving regardless if i'm stopped or not. If i'm stuck in traffic it might go up a little bit, but I would consider that normal?

    +1 with checking the coil and try setting your timing to 12 degree's. Do you know what your timing was set at before you messed with it?

    Are you able to verify that your getting fuel at the rails and spark to the dizzy? Checking the codes would also be a good troubleshooting step.

    First, if I had 8K to spend on my mustang I would **** a BRICK! Then I would go with a wicked 347 stroker H/C/I setup with a T-5 that can handle it.

    All cars have there problems. So these cars on occasion can burn people alive. Not the best feature but I'd say it's worth it to drive my mustang. If you think about it, most of life is luck anyway. The probability that this will happen to me is so remote that I would more likely fall...

    Basic Stang electrical question... capacitor?

    Are you saying they can use all of the underdrive pulleys except the alt (instead use original) and everything will work fine? Won’t that require a longer belt since the original pulley should be larger?

    I missed the short shifter part! lol. I'm only talking from my personal experience. I was pretty much in the same situation and I put an edlebrook intake on mine, it did seem to move the power band up, maybe a little more power on the top end but nothing really noticable on day to day...

    Even if you put a Cobra intake (upper and lower) on, it wont give you a big difference unless you go all the way with an H/C/I setup which can be pricey to do all at once. The reason why is that with the bigger intake you'll be flowing more air but still hitting a bottleneck with the stock...

    I would say if you didn't know about the crack before you sold it and the blower was sold for a good price (which it was), then it's the buyer's problem. You cant expect everything to be perfect when your buying used parts. That's my 2 cents!

    If your going through all the trouble of pulling the heads, why dont you just put a cam in? The car will perform better and you should easily be able to hit your HP goal.

    Car idleing @ 1500-2000rpm???? HELP!!!

    I would check for vacuum leaks, it's a common problem with our hoses being 12 years old. They get brittle and leak. I have also had trouble with my throttle fluttering and I cleaned the IAC motor and the problem went away.
