    Everyone has SLP. To answer your question IMO yea I would make the trade I'm with Mity I think SLP sounds like ass. Yes it will quiet it down quite a bit.

    Yea the noise is your throw out bearing. As far as grinding gears, its probably your synchros going out. Those are both two common problems with mustangs.

    According to some people just welding in flowmaster mufflers make you lose horsepower :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: Like as mentioned above mufflers will do very little for hp gains, were as headers and mid-pipe will give much bigger gains.

    They actually sound really good on cobra's. For anybody who goes on SVTperformance.com and knows who Predator03 is, he has one of the meanest most aggressive sounding exhausts he has a BBK O/R X with a MAC catback. But then again thats just IMHO.

    Some people claim they have hit 300 rwhp with full bolt-ons and no headwork so I'm guessing an extremely aggressive cam and a nice tune. Most people say to reach 300 rwhp u need headwork, cams, and full bolt-ons. I would guess with the setup u mentioned u would be right around the 275 mark or so.

    You have any video/sound clips of your car I really want to hear the 1 chamber flows with the MAC O/R H, I've been looking for something that would be a little bit louder but not make me lose my nice deep chambered muffler tone also.

    The C&L is fine but just skip the MAF numerous people have done tests and lost hp with a bigger MAF, only reason for a bigger MAF is if you peg the stock one.

    Spec Stage 3

    From what I have heard about the Spec Stage 3 is that it is an awesome clutch, its just that its either in or out, there is no leeway (sp?) with that clutch. Thats just what I have heard from previous owners who have used it, they say its an awesome clutch just not the greatest DD clutch.
