    Mac Exhaust -Opinions

I think this guy is like a rep from magnaflow or is just really obsessed with magnaflow. Look at his sig, I dont see anybody else having a sig that pretty much ejaculates to an exhaust in words. IMHO MAC has the best sounding catback on the market, I've got flows and they sound good its not...

Pics of Stangs with Magnapack Catback

First off I'm a huge fan of low deep grumble thats why I went with an O/R H and flowmasters, but IMO magnapacks are the best sounding straight through mufflers. If you get the magnapacks you will like the sound its not really raspy and u will be actually be able to hear your car now. He just got...

    No Cats. Robes H.P.?

Yes cats will rob you of low end power but you will gain it back up top. This dyno graph is off a stock 01 Cobra, tests were done by mustangexhaust.com If you are worried about low end lose get a nice chambered muffler that will help you keep some of the low end power and the O/R mid-pipe will...

Questions about LT headers, intakes, and tuning...

LT headers are in no way a waste they are one of the best bolt-on mods u can do to your car. I would get all the PI stuff on first though since like I said it will help all other mods u do after it to perform even better. No way a timing adjuster and X-pipe will give you the same power a PI...

Questions about LT headers, intakes, and tuning...

PI intake along is good for 10-15 rwhp maybe a little bit more, maybe somebody can show u a dyno graph of somebody with just the PI intake on. Its been discovered that the NPI intake is the main problem with 96-98 GT's not the heads but the heads will still help. As far as good brands of LT...

any body have an H pipe with flows?

No go read through the posts again. I said an O/R H would sound more aggressive than a catted H. You just took part of my quote and used it out of context. And if your trying to argue with me about which sounds better with a chambered muffler an H or X then just STFU now. You can have your...

any body have an H pipe with flows?

Yea I would like to put money that an O/R H will make your exhaust sound more aggressive than a catted H. I would also put money that an O/R H sounds better with any chambered muffler than some ****ty ass X-pipe.

    Densecharger

Dont change your MAF unless you are pegging it which I dont think u are because it doenst peg till around 500 horsepower or so. Its just a waste of money to change your MAF.

    Cam/Head Question

Yea modularpowerhouse and modulardepot both have great stuff also. 96WhiteNight you know where I can find any videos/dyno graphs of some of Houston Performance cams? I want to do cams soon and right now I'm leaning towards VT stage 2's but am open to alternatives.

3.73 gears what do you think?

I guess that depends on if other people are around :D Only thing roll races are good for is to see how much new mods improved your car. Like when me or a buddy gets a new mod we like to go do some roll races to see how much the mod really affected our cars. Other than that roll races are...

    Cam/Head Question

I havent heard very good many things about SHM products or customer service. If I were u I would consider getting my parts elsewhere. I would suggest either VT or Fox Lake. VT has some awesome cams also. I've heard good things about the Fox Lake P-51 intake also that would be my intake of...

    Densecharger

:rlaugh: I guess if u consider 2-3 flywheel horsepower considerable gains then yes. I have a densecharger also and I felt a little bit up top but I think it was all in my head. Densecharger is one of the best CAI's you can get though.

3.73 gears what do you think?

I agree 100%. Even some people who have blowers still go with 4.10's and if u plan to stay N/A definetely do 4.10's. Even better do the headswap its the best thing I have done so far. Makes the car completely different from 3500+. Hes also right about little bolt-ons dont waste your money. First...

    X or H Pipe help

Actually its been proven that H-pipes are louder. As far as gains yes X-pipes will get a bit more way up top, H-pipes will give you a bit more in the mid-range. Personally I prefer H-pipe nice deep rumble when u get on it its nice and loud. Dont go with BBK H or X I've rarely heard anything good...

(96 mustang gt)lookn for best possible shock/spring combo

Well for shocks and struts u cant beat the Tokico 5 way adjustables because then u can set the ride to however u like it really stiff to nice and soft. Springs I've got H&R sports those are the best they make for drag racing. Its about a 1.5" drop if u get the urethane spring isolators without...

    springs and shocks suggestions

I've got the H&R sport springs with the Tokico 5 way adjustable shocks and struts. Only complaints are the damn urethane spring isolators make it take forever to drop. H&R sport springs are good for drag racing as there spring rate is low and the 5 way shocks and struts are awesome, set them...

How long for springs to drop?

I got the H&R sport springs from MM. Says with the urethane isolators the drop is suppose to be 1.6" up front and 1.5" out back.
