    Water pump questions!

The water pump should work fine. I think they use the same one on all the mod motors.

Hey, Kenne Bell 4.6guys what rear end gears.

I had planned on 3.73's before I installed the KB. But after it was installed I tried the stock 3.27's and pulled off a 12.3 @ 114 in Phoenix so I think I am sticking to the stock gears for now although I am curious if 3.73's would have helped or hurt. Even with 3.27's traction is difficult.

    Tuned KB - New #'s!!!

He didn't say that either. (Are you one of those people that calls into the Tom Leykis show and misquotes him too? :) ) He said they tune it the best. I would hope they feel that way.

    Tuned KB - New #'s!!!

I think everyone needs to take it easy here. Text messages can not convey intent. If Ken was being defensive maybe it's because this should be handled differently. I wouldn't appreciate the things Red Dragon has posted in a public forum either. I don't think this is the best way to go about...

Yep, you would smoke a stock SC'ed Cobra.

    Tuned KB - New #'s!!!

If you search you will find he has said he has said that he has had this "hitching" problem since the car was new. Maybe there is something odd with his car. I am in California pretty close to KB. I am happy with my KB tune. I pulled my plugs and they look good.

    Tuned KB - New #'s!!!

Very cool. I am very curious to see if any real gains can be had with that kind of combo and the KB. BTW KB is only a few months away from releasing the 2.2L for the 4.6 2v (race only apps). Sounds like that setup would be a perfect candidate. I just got my JBA shorties back from the coaters...

    Roots or Twin screw

I am the one that got 12.3 @ 114 with no mods other than a Magnaflow catback and Nitto dr's. I am waiting for the guy that has a completely stock GT, bolts on a Kenne Bell 9 psi intercooled kit , swaps in some dr's and gets 11's. If my car wouldn't have been taken out by a Camaro at the...

    Roots or Twin screw

Twin screw is more efficient and makes more power than a roots. I would recommend a Kenne Bell for a Twin Screw and an Allen Engine Development Eaton M90 for a Roots.

Sticky tires. No, make that sticky, sticky tires.

Will a 2001 hood and bumper cover fit on a 97?

Will a 2001 hood and bumper cover fit on a 97 Mustang? My family is having some bad luck lately. I was in an accident at the race track a few weeks back and now my daughter rear ended someone today and did some major damage to the front end of her 97 Mustang Vert. While my drivers side is...

    Tuned KB - New #'s!!!

Holy smokes dude. :hail2: Congratulations. You have to be thrilled. I think you might have set some sort of record on torque from a 9 psi supercharged stock 2v. I "only" get 400 rwhp and 410 rwtq with a very conservative Kenne Bell tune. Which is very good considering it is tuned for 91...

    Bullitt trim code

Interior trim code on a Bullitt is KW. Go here and send Randy a message. He might be able to help you out. He helped me get a lot of Bullitt specific parts. http://forums.modulardepot.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=21

    KB Dynoed at last

I am not 100% sure but I think you have to send back your chip and have it reflashed for the upgrades.

    KB Dynoed at last

Definitely get the upgrades. You would sooner or later anyway. And this way your tune will not have to be changed when you upgrade later. If you guys plan on running at the drag strip make sure you get the switch chip. That way you can run a more aggressive tune for the track. The only...

    Kenne Bell opinions

Bone stock. I have to admit I am a little concerned about 14 psi but I think as long as I support it with the proper octane I think I will be fine. I don't plan to run on it every day. Just a few runs down the track from time to time. My kit was installed by Kenne Bell since they used my car...

    Kenne Bell opinions

Not yet but I will. I want to get my exhaust system first since the 14 psi pulley requires race gas which will most likely be leaded. I have a Dr. Gas o/r X pipe and JBA shorties that are to be installed in a few months after I get my car back from the body shop.

    Kenne Bell opinions

That dyno pull was 9 psi and I usually run 9 psi all of the time. But I have all of the pulleys for 6-14 psi
