    wouldnt that engine drop the compression??? His car should be at 9.5:1 and the Terminators are at 8.5:1. Or is that drop in the heads too???

    How to beat a PI Stang.

    I have outrun a few PI GTs w/ my nonPI GT. A lot of it will be driver. I know that I was a better driver than some of them. Car vs Car, I think you are outgunned w/ equal drivers. Your best bet is to tree him and not look back.

    I put down 209rwhp NA and 302rwhp/382tq on 100 shot. No track times yet. That was w/ stock unported heads. Now they are ported and I should be seeing some good numbers after this build.

    best clutch

    I have a spec II and it is good. If you are looking for the "Best" you might want to look at a Macleod clutch. They are great but, $$$. Other good brands are centerforce and Ram.

    Bumping Compression

    He will get a bump in HP and if he is using nitrous, he should be fine. Boost always works better w/ a bit lower compression. Many go at about 8.5:1 w/ boost. W/ higher compression, he will need to run higher oct gas but, since apparantly he is already running nitrous, he should be doing that...

    looking good. I like the way the gauges look. IMHO the AF looks better on the top but, I thought it would be less visible. Visibility is No. 1 but, if you are mounting it so that the top portion is the most visible, go that route.

    I agree w/ the T45 being okay. I have never had any issues w/ mine except the clutch of course. I have raced w/ it plenty.     Cobra short block compression

    The stock Terminators have an 8.5:1 compressiong but, that is w/ the 2v heads. I would think that will raise since the 2vs have a 9.5ish:1 compression.

    SUBFRAME CONNECTOR HELP!?

    agreed w/ all the above. Personally, I am looking into some Griggs Subframe connectors when my car is up and running again. Welding is the way to go too.
