    Stock Speaker replacement

i am not familiar with those stock speakers, but it looks just like it is a housing to plug a harness into. Is something supposed to plug in there? what does it look like? i'm guessing just cut the pigtail and put on some spade connectors, then attach to your new speakers.

you won't know what length you need until you check it with the adjustable pushrods. then you order your pushrods once you have the CORRECT length for your application.

What lifters, pushrods, Rockers and Valve springs?

for rockers any good name should work fine. comp, crane, scorpion, harland sharp will do great. for pushrod length, you will need to get a set of adj. pushrods, cost like $15 or so. for the springs, if you are gonna get the AFR's, just go ahead and get that spring upgrade they have or whatever.

also if your dogbone thingie is off of the rearend it may be part of the prob. it is supossed to help keep vibrations down. some folks it helps, others it doesn't. and sometimes just the gear change can do it too.

    Pinion Angle and Lowering

you can get a angle meter/finder thing at sears. you just place it under the rear axle at the pinon/yoke area to get your reading. i think around -2* is ideal. others will have a better answer.

    Extra Plug Wire?

fuel filter is kinda big i think too. about the size of i guess the oil filter as well. it is in front of the gas tank, right about the rear axle i think. peek under there and you will see the lines running to it. be gentle with the plastics if you filter didn't come with new ones.
