    TOP SPEED DYNO RUN

Front tire rolling resistance + Air resistance = Real world The only Mustangs that a speed limiter are V6 models and the early GT's with 16" wheels since the tires were H (130mph) rated.

A stock Bullitt and a stock GT should be side by side in the 1/4.

    Bullit shock lenght

The shock itself is no shorter than stock or a aftermarket replacement. The collar where the bottom bolts up is mounted higher on the strut tube. As for the rears I don't think it really matters, my GT OE were the same length as my Tokico Mach1 OE shocks.

    03-04 different????

Go watch a bunch of LS1's dyno. They are pathetic different cars of the same year can vary by up to 20HP. Everone thinks the 2001-2002 are beter but they usually show the most difference between each other. All cars are like this though. As for Mustangs I think some just got junk programming...

What does it take for a 4.6 GT to run in the mid to low 13's with street tires???

A 99+ GT will have more power than a 5.0 across all gears. With the mods listed in my sig. I have managed a best of 13.62, my previous best before the Mach1 suspension upgrade was 13.7-13.8 all times on the OE street tires.

    99 GT suspension question

The Bullitt sway bars are junk, the front bar is 28mm (GT=26.5mm) and the rear is the V6 bar (GT=23mm). Just get the Mach1 kit and buy a 2003-2004 Cobra front sway bar which usually can be bought for $70 or less. As for the rear bar the GT and Mach1 use the same 23mm bar. If you want to...

    mach 1 supspension

My GT with the Mach1 kit on it seems to sit lower than my buddies Mach1. I personally think that some people here consider more than a 1.5 inch gap 4x4 I don't. There is a difference between droping a car and making it handle. The wheel wells in Mustangs are kind of bowed more than other...

    99 GT suspension question

The spring rates on the Mach1 and Bullitt are the same. Both kits will lower your car .50 to .75, I have seen a Mach1 kit lower a car more than a Bullitt kit.

    mach 1 supspension

With the suspension in my sig. the 4x4 look is gone and handling is on par with my 2000 SS with the SLP Bilstein suspension.

    help steering wheel shake

Well does it get worse when you lightly step on the brakes? If a rotor is warped bad enought shake the steering system when the brakes are unapplied then it should get orse when braking. Otherwise who ever balanced your wheels did it wrong.

    best plenum?

You wouldn't happen to have any pics of the Dragon intake on your car would you? What about the missing support on the Dragon intake is it not needed?

    Installed mt bullitt suspension!

Save money and install the Mach1 stuff. They both lower your car by the same amount. The sway bars that come with the Bullitt kit suck and aren't worth the extra $100.

    struts/shocks

If you are running stock springs Bilsteins or Tokico HP's will work great. The Tokicos that are OE on the Bullitt and Mach1 are valved to the springs found on those cars. Heres the way I look at it. Bilstein = $500-600 Tockico HP = $290-340 Mach1 shocks/struts/springs = $290-350
