    My not not be a bad idea to get a dyno tuned chip if you have some more mods. Correct the speedo and gain some HP.

    Get a dyno tuned chip, the other bolt ons as mentioned by everyone else, and you'll get close. With cams that aren't the most agressive and no P&P job it will be difficult. You are going to have to pick up each little HP you can through small gains. It might be better just to throw a small...

    Best slick set-up?

    If he absolutely wants to stay with 17" and doesn't want to use drag radials then go with M.T. E.T. streets. Go to a smaller wheel and getting more sideway would be better but it sucks changing wheels over all the time.

    Aftermarket Springs?...

    Its a gray area from the pics. Its not obviously slammed down but it doesn't look like its at stock height. If I was putting money on it I would go with lowered. The black tire and black wheelwell make it hard to see where one ends and another begins.

    long tube install with tubular k member

    K members are a must. It is so much easier to do things on the underside. If cost is an issue try AJE K-members. Not sure if it cost more or less but at least its an option to look into.

    non pi heads......

    I have a set of Livernois P&P non PI heads for sale. They were ported and polished by Livernois Motorsport in Michigan. They have their custom cams for the heads, and modded vavles and springs. I am selling for less than a set of PI heads is going to cost. If you are interested let me know...
