    Ford uses 409 stainless. It looks like regular mild steel. Same thing they used on the factory headers.

    Glass won't rust. That is most peoples reason for getting one. Cervini's doesn't sell race weight parts so my guess would be that the hatch is intended for street use.     Yes you can, but before you do it you better have no chassis flex. I also suggest that you use a hatch latch from a mid 80's Camaro. The electric kind with a worm gear that pulls it closed slowly. All the blunt force from a factory latch will destroy a glass hatch in short order.

    Nah, the filter would of saved you.:D I like the red and black. I have no love for the z28 vents tho. I have a set of welds and a ram air hood. So that is what i'm workin with. I have a stock hood as well that will also get painted just in case I don't fall in love with the look of the ram air.

    Omni is a great paint for the money. It sprays really nice to boot. The same company in the link has base clear. Just search in there store.

    I'm 31. I have 7 cars currently. I don't have an exact number but it has to be the better part of 75 cars in the last 18 years. Yes, I know 31 - 18 = 13. At age 13 I owned a pair of dusters. By the time I had my license I had got rid of them and had two different cars.

    manual steering rack interchangable?5.0/2.3

    The rack for a 4 and a 8 are the same. I didn't get any brackets when I bought mine, so I have no clue what he is talking about.
