    Cadillac CTS-V Oh My...

The LS1 and LS6 are both 5.7L or 346 ci. The LS2 is a 6L or 364ci engine and the LS7 is a 7L or 427. The CTS-V changed from the LS6 (old Z06 motor) to the LS2 (New base vette motor) in 2004/2005 I think. The LS6 was a handbuilt motor, the LS2 is basically an LS6 designed for mass production, it...

    Cadillac CTS-V Oh My...

My uncle (who already owns a 450hp Viper and a 327ci/400hp '32 Ford 5-Window) said if they make the 300C in a convertable with the 425hp hemi he would be the first on the list to buy one. Both of us are pretty impressed with that car, it is probibly the closest thing to a muscle car in a long...

    Cadillac CTS-V Oh My...

Personally I think the GTO is a better buy then the CTS-V. Same motor, same trans, less weight, simpler construction, no extra electronic garbage, ect. It may be a little slower because the rear gearing is higher (3.46 in the GTO compared to 3.73 in the V), but with the money saved (Rougly...

Not street legal, while the 5.4L or Supercharged 4.6L is. :nice:

    Zex GT kit installed!

It's fun, especially being a Vert. It isn't quite as fast, but it's nice for cruising, plus I need the extra headroom. The only bad thing is everywhere I go someone tries to race me. Thanks!

    Zex GT kit installed!

I gave him the idea to wait until the warrenty is up, especially on a car that is the first year of its style. Who knows, at 42,102 miles the fuel pump in every car may explode. Anyway, I only have one good picture of my car (I really need to take more), so I'll just post it up...

    Zex GT kit installed!

Not me personally since I already have the '03, but a kid I know who has a V6 might be willing to try this once his warrenty is up, he always says he just wants to be a little faster then a V8 stang and he would be happy. :D

    Zex GT kit installed!

So basically for under $1,000 if installed by the owner one could have a V6 stang that runs mid 12's? Wow! :flag:

    Zex GT kit installed!

So using this Zex kit, what else exactly would it take to get a V6 '05 down to mid 12's?

    Cadillac CTS-V Oh My...

By the way, they have an LS2 now (6.0L), 2004's had an LS6 (5.7L). The LS6 was actually the better of the two IMHO as it made 5 more hp and had a slightly lower compression ratio. Plus a 350 sounds more traditional then a 364, then again it wasn't really a 350, it was a 346.

    Cadillac CTS-V Oh My...

They are only slightly faster then an '05 stock to stock. Fastest I have seen is a 13 flat. Think of it as a heavier GTO with a softer suspension.

2003 Cobra factory options, what were they?

I'm going to have to go find my paperwork, because I distinctly remember discussing how much room the system would have taken up. Are you sure it maybe wasn't offered in later '03 models?

2003 Cobra factory options, what were they?

I know my '03 had the option of the base radio or one that added stuff in the trunk. I thought it was a shaker, but maybe not.

2003 Cobra factory options, what were they?

The Shaker 1000, chrome rims, spoiler delete, Anniversary package, int/ext colors. Cobra's don't usually have a lot of options as they come with the most stuff of any stang already.
