    O5 GT wheel hop?

Mopar guy I know test drove a GT--took a 5 speed out and drove it pretty hard. That was his main comment--cool car, but a lot of wheel hop. And this is a guy who is used to driving big HP 60s Mopars. Surprised me cause I hadn't heard it here before.

Gas tank won't take gas, CD player won't play CD's...etc...

Gas tank thing seems to be a common problem. Not sure Ford has coughed up a solution yet but they seem to be aware of it. I assume it's some kind of venting problem. Keep us posted.

DC says there is no market for two door cars

http://autoweek.com/news.cms?newsId=101450 I guess they were looking at the sales figures for the GTO or something. Anyway, looks like no RWD V8 2 door vehicles will be coming out of DC anytime soon, which just means less competition for the Mustang... :nonono:

Magnaflow needs YOUR input- V6 exhaust system pictures- single or dual?

You'd still notice the single cutout with dumps. Dumps are cool, though--but maybe too old school for the type of person who is buying a new V6. Most guys with 60s Muscle cars don't go with dumps, even when they are era-correct for their car. Anyway I'd stick with the single exhaust on the V6...

    quarter window louvers

I don't like most of the rest of the stuff tacked onto this car (in general I prefer the clean look of the stock car) but the quarter window louvers look right at home. What do you guys think? What are some other examples you've seen? http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/shows/sema04/mrt.htm

Insurance Rip-off is driving me away!

My kids will have the option of driving old beater Volvos. If they don't like that they can buy their own cars/insurance.

Things just keep getting worse for those who have ordered...

If you can't get IUP does that mean you can't get side airbags? (since the two seem to be linked)

300HP? Thats It...Whats wrong with Ford

300 is plenty for most people. If you want more, bolt it on yourself, wait for the Cobra or buy another car.

    2005 Mustangs in rain

It has all weather tires and good weight distribution. If you know how to drive it should be great. If you are an inexperienced driver who has only driven FWD cars you might need to take it easy for a while.

    Practicality Issues

I'm no expert, but I'm also thinking it would be pretty safe back there in a side imapct vs. your average four door.

    '04 SRT-4 vs. '05 GT

Well, even if he beats you he's still driving a Neon. You guys can compare resale value in a few years and sees who's still laughing.

    Problem adding fuel

There was another post on this a while back so you're not alone. I don't remember if it was resolved. I assume since you're in England you can't ask your dealer... Do a search here and at Brad's... I would assume it is some kind of venting issue.

    JAN HOTROD MAGAZINE

Hot Rod has been getting a lot better lately--Freiburger has done a great job with it. I goofed and let my subscription expire so I might have to grab that one at the newstand.

    Automatics vs. Manuals

Yeah, when you have that much torque either is fine. It's the buzzy high reving engines where a manual is the only real choice.
