    UNBELIEVABLE!

IBTM, but $15000 & no engine work's pathetic.

    DOHC vs. SOHC

Mod for mod the DOHC will always reign supreme over a SOHC, exponentially.

    DOHC vs. SOHC

Very good depiction as my wife also says the Mach pulls way harder than my rather heavily mod'd GT in my sig, and that was stock for the Mach. It doesn't seem much quicker now but that's cuz I don't get on it nearly as much cuz it's so loud.

    DOHC vs. SOHC

The biggest advantage is that DOHC breathes better by way of having not only 1 intake & exhaust 1 valve, but 2 intake & exahust 2 valves. More air in & more air out means more power & more power potential given the same displacement.

    BBK X-pipe JUST FOR YOU!!

Understood. Maybe I shoulda cared more about mine, seeings how my car has less than 2000 miles & no cats.

    BBK X-pipe JUST FOR YOU!!

Is it catted or not? Get some Headers & you'll most def change your mind about the Midpipe.

    Traction control

Look in your instruction manual. There's 2 fuses in the engine control panel you can pull out but they'll also disable your ABS & turn that light on as well.

    Mach 1 Question

I have the time slip @ home & I know this still will have the all important driver factor. But w/ the mods in my sig I only lost to a Firebird T/A w/ slicks by .1 second through the traps.

    2005 GT vs 2004 Mach 1

I agree that there'll be a group of people in @ least 2 years that'll kick themselves for passing up the opportunity to have a Mach. That's why I own one. Everytime I kick myself, it hurts bad. :D Also, as far as the Machs brakes. The Mach has the exact same size brakes as all Cobras built...

    2005 GT vs 2004 Mach 1

I seriously debated the 05 GT vs 04 Mach before I chose my Mach. W/out really being able to look under the 05 to see just how hard it'd be to relocate the mufflers to run side-exhuast & not wanting to wait until this fall is 1 reason I chose the Mach. The biggest reason is if I like the new...

    Mach auto or stick?

Another big difference is that the redline in the AT is actually lower than the redline in the ST. ST is 7K RPMs, & Auto is like 6K. Not that it matters much cuz peak HP is the same for both, 6K RPMs. There's a lot more info about Machs @ mach1registry.com. I'll post a thread for you if you...

    LT Headers & O/R X-pipe worth @ least .38 sec & 2.05MPH

Honestly, I had no pop whatsoever w/ just the Flowmaster 40-series 2 chambers on there. But now that the Headers & X-pipe're on there, I do get some occasional pop on deceleration. It's all contingent on the spark plug's firing.

    LT Headers & O/R X-pipe worth @ least .38 sec & 2.05MPH

Unless you're planning on running Shorty Headers, you're gonna have to upgrade your Midpipe too.

    LT Headers & O/R X-pipe worth @ least .38 sec & 2.05MPH

You're right about that. That's not what I meant. I just mean that headers will give you a really deep, powerful sound. Catbacks are just loud. Now doing both'll get you a really deep, powerfully loud sound.

    LT Headers & O/R X-pipe worth @ least .38 sec & 2.05MPH

Headers are a lot louder than a midpipe, especially if you install Long Tubes or Optimum Lenghts. A cat-back will also add some sound. But overall, if you want 1 exhaust mod to give the most sound, it'd be the Headers.

    LT Headers & O/R X-pipe worth @ least .38 sec & 2.05MPH

I appreciate the feedback. I think a couple of people have helped me have a better understanding as to the lack of effect reaction time has. 60ft's all that really matters.

    LT Headers & O/R X-pipe worth @ least .38 sec & 2.05MPH

 I got it. I know man. A lot of people dawg LTs but I'll say they've drastically improved the sound of my car. & not that I particularly care about this part but about 75% of people I drive by (be they walking or driving) look or stare @ the car. Also who could argue w/ definite ET...

    LT Headers & O/R X-pipe worth @ least .38 sec & 2.05MPH

Why do you have Long Tubes, if they're so worthless?

    LT Headers & O/R X-pipe worth @ least .38 sec & 2.05MPH

My Mach's a 5 spd. & damac, reaction time does have a bearing on your ETs. If you can cut a 1 second reaction time, for instance, down to a .7 second reaction time you'd theoretically hit the traps .3 seconds faster. That is, of course, considering all other variables remain the same. My...
