    it is a decent motor, built with average forged internals(probe or eagle). you won't mess it up N/A. Could build one with more power, but for simplicity you can't go wrong with the Ford Motorsports Z347. IMO

    Underhood heat management?

    Bigger/better fan, fan shroud, more efficient water pump, aluminum heads/intake. coated intake. oil cooler, lower temp thermostat. Thicker rad. Higher pressure rad cap. Better coolant/water mixture. Reducing the heat the engine produces in to the bay is another method of heat control.

    AFRs are a beautiful piece of work, and you can have them CNC ported from FACTORY... nothing gets better then that! I too have the Edelbrock RPM 1.9s polished, they are a nice piece. ( I always druel over the AFRs :) I would buy the Edelbrock RPM again, over the TW.

    This maybe an Idea, ... I too hated lack luster of my head lights. but after I added the GT Lights in the grille it seem to make all the difference in the world, and well it is a stock Item. Just a thought.

    The main reason to toss the cork pieces is they have a tendency of holding the intake UP. Which is not a good thing, has a tendency of not allowing the head / intake not to seat properly. Which for many is the reason for oil burning, vacuum leaks etc.

    Typhoon Intake

    I would suggest porting and polishing them. The have a lot of casting marks etc. They have decent internal ports just need some help for por matching and finish. you did fine.

    Installing the T5....Any last details?

    shifter? reverse light connection, fluid, clutch and pressure plate. throw out fork and bearing(pilot bearing), and you are good as gold. Did you double check that your Flywheel is a 157 tooth unit? 2 of ours was NOT former Toploader cars they were 164 tooth (many swear words there)

    EFI conversion help!!!

    Flowtech offers a weld in able Bung for O2 sensors, the idea is to get them as close to the main collector as possible, you want the best signal from all cylinders. good luck with the swap
