    want to shave drip rails

Ya sounds good to me too. I'm getting ready to join the two halves of the 'stang. I've been considering using the drip metal for an alignment reference. be good to just eliminate, simplify construction for sure. But that would make the alignment harder. Sounds like you're down in the...

Who has used POR 15? How much do i need?

Por15 I agree with the other comments about how large a can to get. Certainly no larger than quarts. I'd start out with 2 quarts, you can always get more. I have used it and a number of other POR products and if you follow directions you will get GREAT results. If you are putting it on...

He said he has spark at the plug, gas in the manifold. So it probably not sugar or a dead fuel pump. Thinks he has the MSD sorted out, at least theres spark at the plug. He needs to get back to us! Yo! Did your buddy come over with the Timing Light? Did it flash? (ie, juice to the plug)

This is another way to find TDC, and what I had in mind, just like YellowMach69 says, after you have found TDC #1 you can see where the rotor points. Should be #1 cyl. I also think you should try dumping some gas in the carb and trying again. The problem with this is maybe the engine is...

Moving right along Oops missed that post. Ok. I think at this point you really do need to remove a valve cover, the 1 over cyl #1. If you do this you can locate top-dead-center #1. Having established this you can verify the timing mechanically. Roy.

See, we have eliminated a completely broken timing chain, but maybe it jumpeda few teeth. Even if it did you should get SOME attempt at firing. OK, we can work around the timing light I think, if you can't borrow one from a buddy. We need to see the exact time that #1 cylinder fire , referenced...

Okay fine If you did the grounded spark wire test and saw a spark and the distributor is turning, a couple of more things to check. If it has gas and it has spark, it has to spark at the right time and there has to be fuel and air compressed in the cylinder. 1. What's the compression...

OK, enough of this! Dude, I've been kind of watching your problems for a while and really sympathize. (I'd probably trade though, LOL) Lets not get carried away and hasty here. Lets try to eliminate some things. You keep answering the questions I (and other perhaps more knowledgeable...

    Modifications for chassis stiffness

The ones I listed are additions to the coupe and fastback. They are standard on the Convert. I's like to get a closer look at the Mustang Plus Kit. I'd also REALLY like to get a look at the Shock tower bracing OpenTracker mentioned in an earlier post. (gone now) There are some other...
