    4:10 gears

I keep posting this link into all "GEAR" threads. It's really helpful. www.bullittarchive.com/Misc/Gears/ (link should work) Ian

anybody with chrome bullits on 94-98 gt

I don't have any pics, but I'm sure you can find some. I have seen them on 94-98's and they look GOOOOD. They fit that body style even better than they do on my car. Vintage-style wheels ROCK! Cragger SS, American Torque Thrust, Bullitt, etc. I LOVE 'EM. Go for it. Ian

Mustang GT vs WS6 Trans AM!!!!!!

Racing is fun, even if you lose. Keep telling yourself that, or you'll feel really bad when you do (and you will). But who cares. I'd do it anyway just for the fun of it. Only ricers say, "I don't want to race you, it won't be fare". DO IT! it'll give you reason to buy more parts...

    Rousch 360R Question

Look, I realize that you're going to try to defend your Kenne Bell equipped car. I'm not trying to bash it (I love the KB system), nor am I talking out of my ass. You're getting info from a Mechanical Engineer who studied heavily in theromdynamics and heat power, fluid flow, and automotive...

    this sucks

I appreciate your drive, but why take such a hard road? It's gonna be a lot of time a money to get 40 more ponies out of yout NPI heads. I agree that while everything's apart, you could use the opportunity to buy a set of take-off PI's (with cams), them get them polished, and spank me in my...

18x8 Rim, Any Setbacks? What Tire Size?

I say REAR: 18x10 or 17x10.5 FRONT: 18x9 or 17x9 Both combos look great. 295-315 rear and 265-285 front (I'm guessing) Ian

    Rousch 360R Question

I agree about the Kenne Bell. It's a superior design. And while it IS a positive displacement type blower like a roots, it's actually a twin scre design. The rotors of te twin screw blower don't actually rub eachother like the roots do. This lowered friction level means less intake...

Why do I have to shift into 4th in 1/8 mile with 4.10's

Josh, Is your car actually hitting the limiter in 3rd when running the 1/4, or are you just shifting because it looks like you're getting close? Remember, stock tachs are notoriously inaccurate (slightly). You may have up to 200 more RPM's to work with than you think you have. My...

Saleen wing STOLEN ... need new wing (lots of pics)

I say no spoiler. SLEEPERS RULE! That 3-piece Saleen one is FUGLY. I think that some of their stuff is nice, other parts are just a little too ricey for my taste. Keep it simple and buy a spoiler-less V6 take-off decklid and be done with it. You might get lucky an find one in your color...

    3.73 vs 4.10 estimated 1/4 mile ET

WHY are you grabbing 4th? You're getting less than 100mph in the 1/4 but your TR-3650 tranny and 3.27 gears will go over 106 mph before hitting the limiter in 3rd gear. I've posted this before but this link should help everyone understand the 2001-1/2 to present 5spd tranny a little better...

Why do I have to shift into 4th in 1/8 mile with 4.10's

WHAT?!? Any Mustang equiped with the TR-3650 transmission (2001-1/2 & later) and 4.10 gears (assuming stock height tires) will be travelling at 84.73mph @ 6000 rpms. With your list of mods, I SERIOUSLY doubt your reaching those speeds in the 1/8th mile. These figure have nothing to do...

    What size tires????

    First, I don't think 315 are too big. But,if you do, Nitto is going to start making a 305 18", I think. Check that out. Second, who's making an 18" x 10.5" BULLITT wheel? I know www.wheelreplicas.com has an 18 x 10 and a 17 x 10.5, but no 18 x 10.5. Please fill be in, as I'd love to get some.

O/R X pipe on an 04, please help!

Your friend is full of it. All mid pipes for '99-up 4.6's are the same (as far as application). GT's, Mach 1's, Cobras, BULLITT's, it doesn't matter. The earlier models ('96-'98) were slightly different and can't be made to fit without serious modification, but any midpipe off an '03 will...
