    My turbo build

Most newbs dont even know what they are. They came out in the 90's, ok. They are still the best 2v head available........... So call them archaic if you want.

    Fun with Ethanol

Personally i would rather keep our money within our borders. There's plenty of people that need it like those on welfare with 9 kids and a meth addiction who cant work. So sad. I hear ya though. I guess Brazil is better than sending money to the middle east? Its still super gay that we cant...

    Fun with Ethanol

I know. Its pretty stupid how long it takes the US to adapt. Look at Brazil for instance. The majority of their vehicles run on ethanol. Not made by corn, but rather canes which have a higher yield. So why dont we use canes to brew up the stuff? Politicians=$$ hungrey a-holes. Canes grow great...

Kuhmo, Cooper, BFG, Good year??? Need new tires

Somewhere in the 30k range. I still run them as my fronts with nitto drags in back. The tread pattern on them looks really sweet to. Traction is great

    chirpinn

They are soft but are the best tires i have had on my car. I currently run nitto drags (315's). The MX's when new almost hooked as well as the nitto's. Mine lasted about 25k. I actually still run them on my fronts but the tread is getting really low! I am looking at putting the nittos on some...

    chirpinn

I put my kumho mx's on a couple weeks ago and was hitting 2nd at 50 mph. I left quite a bit of rubber on the pavement. When i run street tires i get a 3-4 chirp. I love hauling ace.:D

    most powerful street NA 4V?

He is the owner of a local speed shop. I have seen pics of it with the front wheels well off the ground so i know it has some power but like you guess have said it is more than i thought was possible short of using nitro for fuel. The engine is fully built. I dont know what the CR is or how...

    most powerful street NA 4V?

I met a guy last night that has a mach. He told me the heads are ported to the max along with the intake, has stage 4 crowers, built bottom end, and all the bolt on you can get. He also has a huge shot of nitrous on it (2 stages/ 250 each:jaw: ). He told me it put down 576 hp on just engine. I...

You guys have to check out this garage I just went to!

WOW, Ugly garage but beautiful collection. I would love to get in that F40. I guess i will be the first to ask where he got the means to have it. I would guess he owns his own business, sold a business, is a developer, or has a swolen trust fund. Either way the guy is cool in my book!

So I broke my sway bar yesterday... and ripped a control arm

FYI: lowering your car will not make the sway bar lower to the ground. Only smaller tires or no tires will do so. :nice: goog luck on fixin her!

    pi cams on NPI heads

Cool, my folks live up there just north of Canyon Lake on the Guadalupe. A friend of mine and i did all the assembly and a shop called Henderson Performance tuned it. They are out of New Braunfels. The funny thing is is that it runs 10 times smoother now than before i had the cams installed...

    pi cams on NPI heads

why not go with some after market cams while you are in there? Might as well. All you need is a spring compressor and air compressor. Good luck, Matt

    T-45, T-5 or 3650 Whats best?

it seems like the 3650 had good batches and bad ones. Some people put thiers through hell and they come back for more while others have problems at stock power levels. I put one in my 96 about 5 years ago and am very pleased with it.

    My new toy! 56k Beware

My dad used to have a 26 A. I helped him on it a little. A tip that will help out in the future: The canister looking thing mounted to the firewall is a water/gas separator. Go buy one used in marine applications! The stock replacements just dont do the job. Water an junk caused my dads to...

Modified Mustang feature car: Warp Speed

Anyone read this? Car is really nice but a lot of the info is BS. They said it ran 7.XX at 210 mph. This is while making 750 to the wheels with a 300 shot and full weight. This was the first time i have ever read this magazine and it seems that a lot of the stuff they publish on feature cars...

    NA build started

Welcome to the plague:D j/k I have stayed NA and enjoy being pretty quick for it. I think you might as well go with the cams since you will be in there. I put crower stage 3 npi's on mine and reallyenjoy them. My car actually runs better now then it did before mainly because of a spot on...

    300 rwhp 4.6

Kinda hard to believe. When you say "almost no bolt ons" does that mean everything but a blower? Not calling you a liar. I've just never seen a near stock PI car lay down close to 300 at the wheels. Cams arent that magical either.

Hunt for N\A power... need some suggestions

just build a short block and throw a blower on it. If you want to stay N/A go with stage 2 heads and VT or crower cams, 4.56 gears, Long tubes, and bore your block over .002 with at least 11:1 compression. With a good tune you should come close to 330 rwhp on a dynojet. If you are racing your...
