Low 12s...99 GT 5speed Sprayed. How?

you can get some crappy tires up front for about 90 bucks, i hope you didnt mean you were gettin the 555r's up front too... Ok, with a slick, gears and bolt on's and a 100 shot, you will be in low 12 territory, considering you can drive at the track

Low 12s...99 GT 5speed Sprayed. How?

Yeah, but you gotta also think about the fact that the LT1 and LS1 motors handle a hell of alot more than these...

Low 12s...99 GT 5speed Sprayed. How?

NO WAY!!! 8 grand to run low 12's???? First of all, how many times do you plan on spraying? If it's only a couple times, then go for the 125 shot, just be careful, we gots PLASTIC intakes that like to blow up. You can get into 12's with all the bolt on's, a 100 shot and some drag radials.

    OK guys..here it is.

OMG, you guys are being dumb. If the guy wants to buy that body kit, let him do it. There's no reason to flame him cause he's got a different style than most people. It's ok if he wants to be different. Personally I dont like body kits, but that's just me! Who cares what I think as long as you...

What do i need to correct the speedometer with my new 3:73 gears

How much you lookin to spend? I'd go with a chip. You can get a dyno tune with your chip and get more out of it than you would get out of a speedcal.

    Steeda shifter handle

This shifter handle is new, I had the old one they made with the triax, but this one is the "comfort pro", i dont think its the same one youre thinking of

    Steeda shifter handle

It fits on any shifter exept MGW and Hurst, it's just the handle, not the whole shifter btw. It would fit right on your pro 5.0 shifter

    Steeda shifter handle

It's probably the same as stock, but closer so it's more comfortable to shift. Check out the picture of it on the website.

    Steeda shifter handle

I got the new shifter handle that steeda sells. Im not sure how new it is, but it's awesome. It moves the shifter towards you so much more and makes shifts so much easier cause you dont have to reach at all. Anyone else try it?

Yeah, but the color of the wheel is actually different. I think it might match the 03 and 04's, but definetly not the older ones.

I'm not too sure about bfg's, but I run my nitto's between 13-18 psi. I know you can go pretty low with the bfg's.

Any sugestions before installing my O/R x pipe?

Yeah, that's when I hit the starter too, when i had the car up on jackstands. I hate changing any of my midpipes without a lift! I'm small, so i'm sure it was easier for me than most of you guys, but you wanna talk about PITA??! My friend let me use his lift last time I put my magnaflow x back...

LMAO! I learned after the first time i changed out my x pipe to just disconnect the battery....ouch...much easier than trying to avoid touching the starter :rlaugh:

Any sugestions before installing my O/R x pipe?

Ok, for question 1. I connected the second piece after i connected it to the manifold. 2. To be honest with you...I dont remember. I think it goes where the x pipe meets the catback. 3. I had to get different size bolts cause it was different from the ones I had with my magnaflow x pipe...
