My new wheels....something a little different.

I would say if your gonna paint or powdercoat the centers, I'd reseal them anyway. I don't know a lot about sealing wheels, but I'd say if they sell the stuff that CCW uses at Lowes I probably wouldn;t hesitate to use that. As for the color, I think the silver looks amazing and it goes...

My new wheels....something a little different.

I think semigloss black centers would look hot on them. Reason I say this is because if you were to paint/powdercoat the centers gloss back, since the spokes are pretty wide, I think it would cheapen the look of the wheels. These are some sexy wheels dude, I'd hate to see them look like a cheap...

    Speedcal Calibration help!!!

Hmm, to be completely honest, I don't know what my "MY" is. I would say the speedo is probably 5-10mph SLOW right now. It currently has the "2" and "7" switches in the up position and the rest down. I had them in the position that Dallas Mustang says on their website from 3.27's to 4.10's...

    Speedcal Calibration help!!!

When I installed the built '03 Cobra IRS in my Bullitt, there were FRPP 4.10's installed in the carrier which was awesome because I wanted 4.10's and was going to get them installed regardless. Anyway, I bought a used Brothers Performance Speedcal from a respected member on Corral, and...

My new wheels....something a little different.

Those are sick! I've always loved Simmons wheels, seems like they are pretty hard to come by these days. Same thing with Fiske FM5's. One of my favorite wheels ever made, but almost impossible to find.

    11-06-2010 Photoshoot (large pics beware)

Stance is so f'in sick!!! As impractical it is to have a slammed car, and how terribly it rides, it just looks so amazing. I'd love to see someone get those wheels widened to 9" in front and at least 10" in the back. I've always love them. Looks great man!!

My Bullitt and Friends TL - PICS!!

Thanks man! Patience is key! It's one thing I don't have except when it comes to my car. ahall2004 - You can actually just mask off the backup light with painters tape, spray the desired amount of coats of tint, then remove the tape and clear the whole housing. The VHT Niteshades is only about...

My Bullitt and Friends TL - PICS!!

No problem! These are my stock tails that I tinted myself with VHT Niteshades. Many people have bad luck with this product, but that's because they are n00bs and don't know how to use it properly. I hit them with 3 coats of the Niteshades, let them completely dry then wetsanded them with 1500...

My Bullitt and Friends TL - PICS!!

Yes. On a solid axle car, the tailpipes loop over the axle housing, but on an IRS car, the pipes just sit underneath the control arms because there is no room for the tails to loop over.

My Bullitt and Friends TL - PICS!!

Haha thanks man, but not the ban stick! I was just talking to my buddy about painting my mirrors in the spring when it gets a little warmer out. I'm just gonna order a can of DHG spray paint and paint them myself. Just gotta spend a little time smoothing them out, priming them nice, and painting...

What would you guys do? (Considering buying another Stang, long read)

As far as I'm concerned, DHG is the only color the Bullitt should have came in...but I guess I'm biased, right? Anyway, I have owned a '95 GT and now my '01 Bullitt and as much as I loved my '95, the move up to the '01 was one of the best choices I've ever made. The '95 was my first car and I...

My Bullitt and Friends TL - PICS!!

Today was a beautiful day so my friend Jon and I went out to grab some shots. My car was freshly detailed last weekend and sitting under the cover all week, and*Jon wanted some cool pics of the TL, so we hit up the local parking garage. Enjoy!

Gonna look awesome! Redfire is a great color, I painted my old '95 GT that color instead of repainting it Laser Red. + =

    shocks and struts

I'd recommend Bilstein HD's or Koni str.t's. They will both be about $600ish for the set of 4. I personally have Bilstein HD's and I absolutely love them. I found a set with MM coilovers in the front as well, for $650 for everything with only 3k miles on them over on Corral. Check on the...

New Mods on the Bullitt w/ pics (IRS Content)

I don't think you'll run into any issues with your SFC's. The Bullitt comes with them from the factory and they weren't even close to being in the way of the IRS. As for straight trade or not, I think most people will end up paying a few hundo on top of their SRA for an IRS, but I guess I...

    Slight IRS Wobble

Thanks for the info guys. Yesterday my friend and I jacked up the car and inspected everything on the IRS. When shaking the drivers side rear wheel back and forth, there was about 1/4" side to side play. My friend got under the car while I shook the wheel, and noticed the inner tie rod end on...

New Mods on the Bullitt w/ pics (IRS Content)

Check all the bushings to make sure they aren't torn up, check the carrier for cracks and/or leaks, check to see if there is any play in the pinion flange, and check for play in the hubs. Other than that, it's a really straight forward swap. Good luck on the search!
