    2 valve vs 4 valve

You do understand that the better the chamber design, spark plus location and other factors, help to reduce the amount of timing that an engine need to make max HP and in a small way helps to reduce pumping loses.

    2 valve vs 4 valve

Maybe someone put it on a wet flow bench and it showed why Ford used it in the first place. Stop drinking the 4v kool aid :rlaugh:

    2 valve vs 4 valve

This is true up to a point. You do not race flow benches just like you do not race dynos. I have seen flow bench numbers and dyno tests where a engine made more power and ran slower are the track. There is a difference between peak and average power produced. If you can not control the one...

Does anyone understand live link logs files and tunes?

15 minutes and 41.52 seconds Without spend a long time looking most of what I saw was idle RPM. A shorter data log file would be much easier to look through

    Long Rod 2V? Opinions wanted

A stock 4.6l engine has bore = 3.552" stroke = 3.543" rod = 5.933" This give a rod stroke ratio of 1.675:1. Going to a 6.125" rod reduces the piston compression height by 0.192" which should not be a problem and which give a rod stroke ratio of 1.729:1 which should not be a problem either. Just...

How do you clean out IAC valve because of lingering idle speed.

I have been cleaning mine for the past 3 1/2 years. Most times it lasts 6-7 month. This time I am at 9 months and counting. I use throttle body cleaner and WD40.

    4.10's...Problem for 1/4?

When you have it on the dyno getting tuned you will be able to see the shape of the HP curve. This will depend on the specs for the cams you install.

    Ported Heads

More information about the heads is needed to comment. The is no standards for stage 1 or stage 2, so it has a different meaning for different heads. Do they list flow numbers? Here is a link to my table of Cylinder Heads Flow Data at 28" H2O. Stan Weiss' - Cylinder Head Flow Data at 28 Inches...

Just put the tire next to your car and see for yourself. If your car has been lowered than they will be fine. Ride quality can be helped by air pressure adjustments
