    carb question - warm hard starts

    Working from your prev posts...... The choke is closing too far and setting the fast idle screw high up on the choke cam, thats what causing it to race at high rpm. the slightly warm hard start problem sounds like the airbleed holes are plugged, use some carb cleaner to flush them out...

    Sorry for the tone.......:D But too many people just disconnect the light because they can't get it to go out. Then when they have to do a *Panic Stop* wonder why the rear end trys to pass them. PB Ps, the brakes are prob getting proper vacume to the booster now and upped the line pressure.

    :nono: Your brakes are not Fine..... that light tells you there is an imbalance in the line pressure to the front or rear brakes. it needs to be recentered to make the light go out. Disconnecting it is just fooling yourself........and indangering others. PB

    Check to make sure that you did not place the caps on backwards. I place a mark on the side of them to keep from doing that. sometimes if they get turned around they will pinch the crank. PB

    How do you install new hood hinge springs?

    I use an old broom stick that I cut to the right lenght to prop the hood up. Hook the spring on the rear hook and use a peice of rope thru the front spring hook and pull forward to hook the spring on the hinge. PB
