    I should follow up- On the song and dance it depends on how good you look and Perform. I know for me I have tried the song and dance route, but I must not be a good singer, or dancer, as the price always seems to double!!! :D

    Go For it! For a driver that is a great price, Most in that range get parted out :( The wheels are hit or miss. Sometimes they bring big money, Other times you get lucky and can find a set for a song and a dance. Give her a good home!

    Anyone ever converted a Turbo Coupe rear to 5 lug?

    I am not aware of any "direct swap" I was planning on using SN95 Axles and brake brackets and such. IIRC You can also use Mid 80's Continental Axles and brakes. I am not aware of a Rotor that is 5 lug with the right spacing for the axles you can use in the rea, with the stock TC brake setup.

    It is hit or miss. I had an 85 4x4 ranger 2.3 that was EFI. The 2.0 was carbed up untill it was dropped in 88 or 89.

    No Differences in the Long block. I would say if you plan on bailing just do the lower end swap and be done with it.

    4.56's and a spool. Seriously you may even want to see how much your local rear-end shop can get them for. With them doing the install sometimes you can get a better deal ordering from them. 4.10 are ok for around town, some highway. I personally like my 3.73's.

    That would be me! I was stuck behind a row of rv's that were going ~5-10 under, Lots of hills and it was only two lane. It was a dumb move that I highly discourage, But it worked :P

    my 87 went 105 when it was n/a. Granted it was on a trailer going down hill behind my old Suburban, but it did go that fast.

    New 4 cyl owner!

    Some suspension mods, GT brake upgrade, Header and other stuff will make it a fun car for the daily grind. I have learned, it never stops with just that tho :) I have 2 Turbo cars, and 3 V8 cars and I always end up back playing with the 2.3's.

    Yeah Looking at the engine compartment, it does not look like there is any say to the front end at all. The Inner fenders on the driver's side looks nice and straight still. So I agree, a New Fender, Nose, hood,rim, fender brace,Lights, and splash shield is the way to go. Bhuff- I had no Idea...

    Is the 85 an 85 or 85.5? Does it have an inline or box intake? I would run the 87 E6,ECU, Vam, and Injectors with the 85 Engine. Now if the 85 has a box intake it already has Brown tops in it, so you can leave those alone.

    Cool, when the weather gets nice we will all have to meet up. My Buddy has 3 Turbocoupes, one is an 88 with 1400 original miles!
