    I would mod it knowing you can change it back if you ever decide to. That's what I did with my 85, Raced it in SCCA events and 1/4 mile, then when I had others done I retired it back to stock, right down to the air filter can :)

    I would pony up and get an Essy aluminum head if that's what you are really wanting to do. (lose weight and be less crack prone than a stocker.)

    Dr- I had a small chance to look, the nose is in my basement, I can drill the header off of it. I have hood hinges down there also. Tomorrow I will be at one of my storage garages I will check to see what else I have there. Pm me and we can figure something out!

    That is strange, I have never had it happen in a Mustang with manual locks, it has always been the actuator binding. May sound dumb, But have a buddy beat on the outside of the door by the latch assy while you pull on the inside handle. I have had to do this on several Explorers to ge tthe door...

    there are a few around. IIRC the B series it is almost a drop in. I know the Midgets and "a" series it will not fit. There are a few that have done it! -Edit I know that the 2.0/2.3 NA is a popular swap into the MGBs as well. Look online I am sure you can find some info!

    You have the injector/o2 harness ground at the back of the intake. Now is the ground wire from the bellhousing to the firewall hooked up?

    I will look in my parts bins and see what I have. I am pretty sure I have most of my 88 leftover, I will check this weekend and see what I can find. I know I have the header panel (still on my spare nose) I can drill the rivets out of it, I am pretty sure I have the hood hinges and bumper...

    Yeah I would say that is the turbo death rattle. I would pull it and rebuild it before it's too late (unless it is already) So did you get your c4 issues fixed?

    I lost two-three tenths shifting my 87 when it was n/a at anything over about 4500.
